Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is very good. They conduct moot court competitions for real life court experiences, they conduct many other tasks for helping us. Frequency and timing of exam is pretty decent. Not very quick or not very late Add all the exams does not have that much gap in them It's the perfect timing for each exam

Internships Opportunities

4

My first internship i did this year with the DLSA Which stands for district legal service authority. It Was the program of twenty five days, We were given the opportunity to observe The proceedings and working of a court and to understand how it works, We were also given a project by the ADJ sir And then after completion of it We got a certificate And in our college We made an internship report

Placement Experience

4

As law there is really not any placement.I mean it's not the company. Comp. Anies will come we can work in the firms And become the lawyer for a company. But fir my Course there is not much need of company as we are supposed to work in district court which is our own job and other options are also there like judiciary wxams aand all. My plans after getting this degree are to appear in judicial exam

Fees and Financial Aid

First year 86k Second year 86k college fees First year 71k Second year 71k hostel fees Scholarship in 2nd year was from DLSA And many more lawyers as the students wants, college will provide their names to reputable lawyers and they'll work under them

Campus Life

4.5

The infrastructure and campus life is very good. It has a good environment greenery everywhere, There's a sports complex. It offers a lot of sports. There are many social media groups run by ours.Students, some educational some for fun and all is quite big enough.Contains every kind of knowledgeable books, Classrooms are quite big installed with ac and projectors. We have intra moot court competition. And many more things

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities pretty decent. Not very good. Not very bad enough to live happily. We get food four times first in the morning breakfast Then in noon , then in the evening snacks and in night dinner. Everyday different menu. There Are two options for rooms first is 3 seater AC. And 3 seater non AC. Then second is 2 seater AC, 2 seater non AC. We have to mark our attendance daily in our hostel. If we are going out We should be in hostel before seven pm.

Admission

I Choose this college because firstly , it's near to my house, And over all it provide Good facilities. The members teachers of law department I know them Even before this college. So it was that that decision also. Admission process of this college is of 2 ways First is as usual through cuet, Secon. D is that they conduct their own entrance exam Add a little interview session with the dean.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty Members are decent in nature, some are rude, stupid, and talk dumb, some are very cool, very positive. There are 3 exams Mid term 1 which is of 30 marks each subje Then Mid term 2 again of 30 marks. Then end sem of 100 marks There are two types of credits score, One is of 4 credit i.e, full credit subject and 2 credit i.e, half credit subject We got cgpa in end. Les than 5 is year back There is option of summer exams, Where those who were debarred and those who failed in few subjects will have the option of giving exams again again and get pass.

Pre placements starts from 4th year and post placements too happens as those who remain to get any placements are also assisted. Law jobs are anyways less so percentage of students getting jobs is also quite less as batch size is also 100+.

Corporate Law is a subjects but no corporate placements as law firms were the sole contributors of our university. They gave as many placements as 30% students were placed and that too with very thin packages. So, university needs to fix this just like they have fixed every single thing at the campus.

Placements for Law are not comparable to the tech courses so far at GLA. Every year combining BBA LLB and BA LLB around 300 and I don't think even 100 are placed. So, GLA University will have to find a way to get atleast half the students find placements here and because I know my chances of getting placements are slim, I will be opting for doing LLM after I am done with LLB in 2027.

The college provide students with PDF lectures which focuses on personality development which includes confidence building, speaking and listening skills, etc. They also give tips for a better resume and how to give interview and prepare us for interviews by organising mock interviews. 5th year students are the focused students for the campus placement. Some students choose to be an advocate and others may prepare for higher studies and or prepare for judiciary and other civil services examinations. I personal preference to go for the one field which can open my ways for other field stoo.

Placements currently as I am in my final year and couldn't find placements through the firm's which came here for placements. Therefore I had to find it on my own just like half of our batch has to as less than half were placed. LLM is also going on in my mind but that is only if I am able to get in top colleges or will continue to serve as a lawyer.
