Course Curriculum Overview

The course is bery nice . We go to field daily for practice . We go to farms with our professors and organise free camps for village people . Check their animals by going to their home . The exams are conducted yearly

Internships Opportunities

In internship you can make group of fee people on you own . Then college can send you where you want to go .there are 4 slots in year for 3-3 months so you have to go to 3 places for internship. But can go where you want

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees per year is 5.5 lakhs but if you are in obc or mbc or sc st you can get 50-60 % scholarship .there is no extra fees . All the amount are covered in this 5.5 lakh . Many of my bachmates are paying 2.5 lakh per year as their 50% amount is returned back per year

Campus Life

Campus life is good . There are many functions and sports weeks are conducted . Canteems is available in the campus . And playing rooms for indoor games and field for outdoors .you can get any of book you needed from library

Admission

I choose this college because i got it through counselling process . If i go to other college then i have to pay 5-6 lakh donation and 1lakh extra fees per year . You can get admision through councelling .

Faculty

There is lots of faculty as the theory and practical professors are different for every subject . You can approach them anytime as many of them . You can get admission through neet exam or directly by paying donations

Previously veterinary had a semester pattern. Now, it's a yearly pattern with a total of 4 exams each year. 3 internal exams and 1 external exam. Many profs prefer ppts but the best ones give handwritten notes and make you write in class without relying too much on tech.

Life at ACVM

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Vsc and AH is a five and a half year unndergrad program, in which you will study about the animal, their diagnosis, treatment, nutrition, genetic development and what not. You will study about Ruminants, Dogs, Cats Horses, Birds, Lab Animals as well as Captie wild animals also. You will be facing three internal exams along with externals. They can be tough but the trick is learning, sitting for tests and revision. This program may seem easy but it is more tough and complex than any other medical program, as you will be dealing with multiple animal species at a time.

I didnot apply for any other colleges as i was mostly interested in being a veterinary doctor since my 10th and i was prepared for the NEET exam. So my target was to get into a veterinary college. Since i didn't get to any other colleges, i didn't get rejections over there. I got a college according to my NEET allotment. Admission process in the college is through NEET exam and Rajasthan state exam for Medical students for their state quota and 30% for management seats. Eligibility is 50% for 12th grade with 2nd group science with biology, chemistry and physics. The cutoff of NEET was nearly 590 marks in All india quota according to NEET 2024.
