- When I entered to college I was totally confused about my classes where and when it will be going on and all but once I came to know about things everything got well. Before that my mother tongue is Telugu and here teachers teach in odia
- I studied in English medium school where teachers teach in English sudden change effected my studies and my result got decreased in my 1st semester as the days passed I became comfortable with their teaching. I liked teaching of every single teacher
- My faculty is one of the best faculty that I have seen. Every programme that is conducted in our university provides us with lots of information, makes us aware to be careful and responsible. I didn't chose to come here but I liked whatever is going
Dislikes
- There was a incident where every single student of a batch came together for postponing of our 4th semester for the reason being a student of Cuttack University due to sun stroke died. Also lots of universities postponed 4th semester examination.
- When every single student came together and started fighting for justice our VC didn't respond well and the moment she responded she spoke favour Full to us. But later we didn't get any result. Lots of students came from different places for justice
- There are nearly of 100 colleges coming down to our university. Every college fought. But our VC had no heart. I Literally cried in that moment. This my worst experience in this university
Course Curriculum Overview
It was great time meeting one of my teacher in the faculty who shared us with MMC exam which help me in meeting with new people's learning new things about maths boosted my interest to some level. I feel great to get this opportunity to share my feelings through this website. I came to know about some programmes which are conducted in India out of our state for free those are summer camps. When it comes to difficulty level yes obviously maths is not that easy to learn and understand we have totally clear our concepts to solve questions. Our course is limited which helps us to concentrate and learn things about maths. Recently we got an opportunity to practice for presentation by which I learned how to do animations and do the best ppts and presentation ways and also showing things practically and lot more
Fees and Financial Aid
Since I have no reservation I didn't get any scholarship total tution fee is 10000 I m staying hostel which costs me around 1 lakh for 3 years having establishment fee 5000 every 6 months 1700 every month as message fee lab fee is already included in 10000 Some other unofficial costs like for freshers, farewell, teachers day, teachers birthday that are celebrated in our department.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is not that good. Work is always going on here. Some departments got best infrastructure. We didn't get. I don't have any issue with my campus life but I wish I would turn back to my 1st semester again so that I will participate in every activity that is being conducted.
Admission
I didn't wanted to chose this college but my friends father was talking about this college I felt okay to join because even my friend will choose to join but she didn't come here because of her merit. I wanted to go for ravenshaw but I liked here because I got best faculty. Admission process was really hectic. We rome to lots of places to do admission even I got 1st selection. Hostel admission was more hectic then for college. Because classes started before hostel was open. So when I went to hostel they denied me to enter even after saying lots of times. It's totally a bad moment for me out here. When there was my joing of maths cut off was 87.8% This college allots seats based on percentage. I didn't get any rejection from any college I just joined here blindly
Faculty
Students are 44 faculty is only 4 teachers and we don't even have HOD of our department. We have total of 14 core subjects. We study 2 core subjects in our 1st and 2nd semester along with AECC, Ethics, an Elective subject having choices of physics computer in 3rd and 4th semester we read 3 core subjects in each semester along with SECC, Ethics and elective having choices of chemistry and statistics in 5th and 6th semester we have to study 2 core subjects in each semester along with two DSE papers if a student scores more than or equal to 60% in last 3 or 4 semesters then she is eligible to do a project paper otherwise she have to study DSE paper in 6th semester. Our exams are divided as Mid semester with 20 marks and end semester 80 marks we have cgpa system and cbcs pattern of studies.
