There is good lab equipment that helps the core students to gain more knowledge and can be accessed so that they can gain real time experience and good curriculum includes 2 labs every sem There will be exam every month

There are a lot of companies vist for internships but for that you need to have 8+ CGPA for qualification of big companies 7+ for all companies Around 50% students can able to get internships in 7th semester

Placement Experience

The placements are very good The average salary is around 5 LPA Highest is 24LPA , lowest is 3LPA There will be a lot of companies vist every year and there will be 90% of students able to get placed The placements and training department is very active and helpful

Fees and Financial Aid

Same fee for all courses and batches but for NRI it will 1.5X times normal fee It will be around 80k per semester and 2k will increase every year For the 1st sem they charge 90k There is no category system all are same

Campus Life

The campus life is good there will be a lot of clubs and events going on every week and you will able to enjoy the both technical and non technical events Sports compititions will held every year There will be 3 feats every year 2 are technical and one is non technical

Hostel Facilities

Hostel faculty is very strict and hostels are very good the cost of accomodation is very less it cost around 24K for single room bath attached , 22k for 2 in 1 bath attached,18k for 4 in 1 bath attached , 2k less for common bathroom per year

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

The fee is very less compared with other colleges and food placements The quality of education is way better than others and the rules are very strict so students will be able to learn the discipline There is no eligibility exam the inter board exams and jee mains exam scores are the scale for admission

Faculty

There will be only 60 per class so there is good communication between students and faculty There are 3 internal assessments best of 2 will be taken for 40 marks and 10 marks faculty will give based on your performance Semester exam is for 100 and 50 is taken from sem exam and 50 from internals and 50 is pass mark Exams are medium level

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

“SASTRA: Strict but Worth It”

had applied to a few reputed universities like VIT, SRM, and Amrita along with SASTRA. I did get shortlisted in some, but I chose SASTRA mainly because of its better academic reputation, affordable fee structure compared to VIT/SRM, and strict yet student-friendly environment. VIT and SRM had flashier campuses and more events, but their fees were almost double, so SASTRA felt like the smarter choice.
