Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course for now is only the MBBS AND the relevance is completely relevant cause this is a RUHS certified college. The curriculum and relevance are 100%. College is still new so things are still settling.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There is an internship program at my college. The internship is the same as all the colleges under RUHS. we have to complete. our 4.5 years of MBBS course and then we are eligible for the internship of 1 year straight. At present date, the stipend for interns is about 20k per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are total 100 seats in the gmc karauli for mbbs 1st year at this point of time Out of which 50 are from govt . Quota and 50 for management quota Fee for govt seat is about 66k for tution fee and for mgmt. Seats it's about 8.6 lakhs per annum. Hostel fees are same for both Which is 36 k for a double seater room And mees charges are separate.

Campus Life

3

The campus is quite big as I speak. But it's still in the construction phase. Till date (sept 2024 ) We don't have any problems with the Facilities but to be honest ongoing construction is a little annoying .. The academic block building is complete but the hostel building is still not finished ... It will take a little time but the actually I am fine with it. As we have students from almost everywhere from the state (Rajasthan) the diversity and social groups are there for sure but it's not a problem cause it doesn't matter when u are in a medical College everyone is equal. The one big flaw of this college it is situated outside the city so it's not a very ideal place for a college .. cause sometimes it gets hard to get to city as it's alomost 8-9 km away from college.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facility is good I'll say. The fee structure is about 36k for a year which includes electricity, water and accommodation off course. The building is still under construction but it fine cause the accommodation are is ready. And that construction is on the higher floors. So it doesn't bother students. As the college is outside the city there are very limited options for and pg or any other rented apartment. So these hostels are the only option here But actually, these hostels are pretty nice. it terms of space, cleaning, location etc.

Admission

As gmc karauli is a college under RUHS and Rajmes society. There is no other way to get admission other than the neet UG exam and its councelling system I got into this college through the Rajasthan state councelling in the year 2023. This is not a very old and established college but still better than those expensive private colleges in India cause this is a govt. College and very affordable too.

Faculty

3.5

College is still new so the faculty strength is not that great. But still the teachers and proffesor are very supportive Strength may be a little less but we have a decent faculty but as the time passes this problem will be solved and new faculty will be added for sure. As offcourse this is a govt. Medical College so. There is no need fr worring about the faculty here. About the exam system It is same as all the colleges for RUHS university colleges. We have 2 set of internal exams throught out the year and then at the end of the year we have a PUC and FINALLY a UC exam. In UC exam we have 2 set of theory paper for every subjects and a single exam for practical for every subject.

Interview Experience

4

For admission, I cleared the national Neet UG exam and got this college in counselling. But there is no such interview or any kind of group discussion for admission. All u have to do is clear the neet UG exam to get to this college.

Placement Experience:

We became eligible for placement after internship. Till internship,we don't have any choice to work anywhere else unless your family own a hospital. After internship,we can join a hospital as mbbs doctor or we can opt for examination like NEET pg or UPSC CMS or M.O. Highest package is 1-2 lakhs per month Lowest package is 50000 per month Percentage of students getting placement -80% My plan is to qualify neet pg and get a high ranked course .
