Course Curriculum Overview

3

i thing the sylubus that they are teaching is really relevent in the stream and will help us in our jobs in the future. the many subject in they teach is very important and help us secure oru dream jobs . the timing of the exams are very irreguler and and some times there wont be any exams for more than 5 months and then u would be dumped with exams for the rest of the year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

there is oppurtunity for internship in 5th sem, one month is given for that, the amount of experence made during the internship is priceless, itt gave us what to expect from our future line of work in the industry, the many skills we develop is very good, these skills cannot develop by justt studying so these are very precious towards our future.

Fees and Financial Aid

the cost of entering the collage and studying is ok considering the fact that this collage has the best labs (like 2d classic animation studios, stop motion labs, etc) but the the actual money heavy part is buying a laptop for this course, for me i had to buy a asus tuf laptop which would cost me around 150K. the fees has risen becouse of the fact that now the degree is not a 3yr course but 4yrs now.. so from what i have heard the, now the collage fees is somewhere arounf 45K (90k per year). i thinfg the same applies to other courses as well

Campus Life

4

-there many annual festivals and other fest, like yugma (the annual collage fest) , onnam , christmas, etc... and many students organised fest like food fest fashion fest ,etc. -there is a librery and it has many range of books, going from study related books to many novals and many fictions. -the classrooms are desinged really good and its well maintaind. the lighting and the atmospher is great for studying -there arnt any sports related activitys tho, but the new sports club is now bringing oppurtunites for that - there are many other extra activitys such as making short films and many other . -the collage now supports club activitys for the students like - sports club -dance club - film club, and many new up coming clubs created by the students.

Admission

i had a placement in IFTK and was going for it , but fashion wasnt actully my thing, i liked to draw and i really like 2d animation, so i started searching for other oppurtunites, this was the first collage that i went, the atmospher it gave off was really good and the faculty members were really frindly, i saw the way teachers and students interract like friends would. i also went to other collages like dpol bu they did not hit the way that ymbc hit. the admission process was really simple

Faculty

4.5

most of the teachers are very skilled and very compitent in their fields. they can understand our doubts and answer them accordingly. the vibe they give of is very welcoming and very friendly. a small amount of faculty members are not so good, they may be good in their fields but they dont know how to teach or how to express their ideas toward the students, but they only appear in the first 1st year, other than that the faculty members are really good and i had a really good time studying under them. teachers like Sudeep sir is very good and very experinced (20yrs or so) in their field of work ( 3d modeling) he knows the software likes its baked in his brain. he is certified by the software company( autodesk). teachers like Sajnau mis is not that great of a teacher, she only teached us for 1 year and idk how i passsed the final exam, she did not spend her time teaching and wasted many of the time just reading the notes and not that much teaching. ite exams are graded really well.

After we reach 6th semester the college provides placement opportunities with companies. The college will help to create portfolios for campuz selections and interviews. 30% students would get placements. After college i am looking forward to taking video editing as my career.
