The experience

I always loved sketching so i thought I should choose something related to design,but later on I realised sketching can only be a bonus in the industry,it's only just 5 percent of what we have to do,there's a lot of process and they teach us exactly that.Software skill can be a bit crucial but later on there is a need for more than that,the skill alone won't make u better designer.I think one improvement they can do is teach more out of the syllabus, instead of going by the book they can add a little more from their experience.

After the second year,u have to do internship at a company for one month,we have to search all the places ourselves,the faculty will provide help if needed.For me the internship made a crucial role in my perspective towards design,I became more focused on what to follow and how the industry works,overall It was a great experience for me.

So the fees can vary a little considering the course ur taking,for me it was 35k per sem i.e 70k for 2 sem and a total of 2,10,000 for 3 years,At the time of admission,I had to pay a total of 53 k - 18k for admission and 35 k of the first sem in advance.

I am much more of an introvert so I'm not that fond of all the programs held,but there's a lot of programs in this college,u can't expect that much of a campus life ur imagining when coming here,but I think it's how each of us perceive it in our way.theres a lot of club activities going on,for thos who are interested it can be a valuable memory for ur life going forward.

I only applied for bdes in nid,I have attended the exam but failed,so I chose to learn another year and reattend,but then one of my friends told me about the college so I applied here coz I don't want to waste an year considering I procrastinate a lot.I didn't really put much effort to the exams,the eligibility for entering this college is only twelve pass,so it was easy.theres not going to be any difference in fees entering through merit or donation,it's all the same.

There's lot of industry professionals working here,so it's a great chance to learn directly from them,they not only teaches u the skills but also the communication skills necessary on this field.They all are friendly and that makes a lot of communication between us a lot more understandable.There is a total of six sem exams and one model exam before each of them,for the first year there's theory paper which includes language and a history regarding design,the theory can be a bit hard for most of them,but the rest of the practical can be easy, throughout the second sem there's going to be some viva instead of practical, the sem projects will also increase,for the final semester it's only just projects.
