- Diversity, people from every State come to this university and a great networking building opportunity is there.
- You get to learn different languages like Tamil, Malayalam,French, Japanese, etc.
- living in south india is an experience in itself, many different types of sweets,dishes are made here .
Dislikes
- the professors discriminate the north indian students from the ones who know their language .
- Professors are not that serious regarding the classes
- You'll have to study everything on your own before the semester exam by the pdf's shared by the professors last moment .
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum really prepares someone to understand a real life business and being able to operate it successfully, there can be more case related classes than the theories, the frequency of timings of exam and the difficulty is on point, nothing there is to improve .
Internships Opportunities
I donot have idea about this as I am currently in second year of my program but my seniors are currently applying for internships so I can get mack to this platform and give a new review on this particular topic .
Placement Experience
from the 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements companies like Accenture,TCS have visited and made around 150 offers highest package was 9lpa and average package is 4.5lpa 50% students get paced i plan on going for MBA throught cat examination but I'll also site for campus placements
Fees and Financial Aid
For first year it was 125000 and after that 115000 per year, other than that based on subjects per semester they charge an examination fee from somewhere around 2000 to 5000, there are no scholarships to avail.
Campus Life
name of cultural fest - Milan, around March name of technical fest - aarush around october there are events are week and it's a very happening campus classrooms have smart boards and other than that everything is basic there are so many clubs in the campus which organise and manage various events campus has a great 4 floor library where books can be accessed easily .
Hostel Facilities
hostels has 3 and 4 sharing rooms with ac and non AC options, they also give cupboards and table chairs with shoe stands meal quality is average to good students can register hostels on their students portals and it is slightly overpriced but in my suggestion every fresher should stay in hostels as it is safe and hostel Life is an experience everyone should have .
Admission
I chose this college because of its recognition and great campus, also applied in vit vellore and got approved but I chose srm because I had lot of friends coming here. Eligibilty criteria is 55% aggregate score in class 12th and nothing else .
Faculty
faculty to student ratio is really bad i mean sometimes there are no one to substitute an absent professor but the professors present are approachable and the overall faculty student relationship is good . I won't take any names . there are 4 exams overall which are class test 1, class test 2, model examination, and atlast semester examination. Course curriculum is really great, out of every 50 students I think 3-4 students fail in a subject
