Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is good as it covers mostly every thing that one computer engineering course should cover. But there are certain things which if included they can bring drastic change in engineering. I would honestly that the course is not enough to clear gate examination. It is also not enough to solve real life problems. I would suggest to incorporate more languages in it also to go deep into certain topics such as python and data science, Artificial intelligence etc. It can help to get deep knowledge of subject. I also understand that there is very less time during semester. So it is difficult to complete syllabus. Still there are certain faculty they share vast topics here and there which can be in use for further study. Exams appear quite frequently approx in a month or two. Mid sem is after 1-2 months of commencement of sem. And external is also same depends whether it is odd sem or even sem. I would honestly say exam are not at all difficult. There may be a difficult sub.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship opportunities are available by college but not directly. Direct internship is for those who gets placed. College gives links to get internship and also gives direct access to the company. But as I mentioned it is whole and sole on students to get better internships. College can provide link and has given freedom to have internship in any company across country.

Placement Experience

5

• After 6 Semester students start getting eligible for placements. Placements start in 7 semester. • There are many companies that visit our college. I would like to mention most of them that I remember. TCS, Crest, Meditab, Zerodha, Mastek, Zealousweb, Gateway etc . They have made almost 30-40 students placed. Highest package this year till now is 6 lakhs in Meditab. Lowest package is 3 lakhs. Average is 4 lakhs. • This year half round is over and 40-50% students are placed. We will have almost 80-90% students getting placed. •I have plans to have study abroad after my Graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

• 70000/- per year tuition fees •All the fees such as lab fees and other fees is 70000 yearly if you get admission through ACPC. Deposit fees for hostel is different. First we have to pay certain amount that is 10000 for ACPC which will be added to sem fees while paying that for first time. So basically there is no different fee other than tuition fee. • If any student comes through NRI quota his fees will be 1,06,000 per annul. • MYSY Scholarship for those who have excellent marks in board exams i.e. 80% or above in PCM. They are benefitted with certain liberation in fees. But for that parent income must be below 6lakhs per year.

Campus Life

5

• We have TechFest annually in our college. Which is the flagship event of our institution. It happens annually which contains tech events non tech events, DJ nights, Cultural nights, etc. We also have annual day event which is to congratulate and honour students with excellent academic and sports achievements throughout year. • We have library which has a vast collection of books thousands in numbers. Covers every aspect of education in it. • We have sports complex for indoor as well as outdoor sports facility which include range of sports such as table tennis, Badminton, Football, Weightlifting, Chess, Kabbadi, Basketball, Volleyball, Kho-Kho etc. This sports also have an annual tournament between institutions. • Classrooms have Smartboard facilities, lab have proper equipment with Air Conditioning and high end PCs with proper Internet facilities. • We have technical groups such as IEEE, GDSC, EDC, ISTE. Non tech such as Cultural team for dance, arts, drama, singing etc .

Hostel Facilities

4.5

• There is only two facilities AC and Geyser rest hostel rooms are good. There is always some issue regarding electricity and water supply. This is If we opt for 70000 one. The best of all as it is having 3 rooms and bathroom. For 2 person. • Dining facility is not upto mark you have to let it go if you are in hostel. Mess facility is bit disappointing. • Registration for hostel is done at admin block itself they ask while admission. It is very simple just to select room according to your budget and pay the fees. Deposit has to be paid for Mess. • Locality is good for hostel as it is away from city noise and pollution.

Admission

GIT, DAIICT, ADIT, MBIT, SPEC, DEEPSTAR, NIRMA, LPU, BITS Dubai campus. I applied for above listed Colleges. I got selected for admission in almost every college except NIRMA, DAIICT. Rest in ADIT and DEEPSTAR I didn't get admission in the field I wanted. I didn't select LPU and BITS Dubai Campus as it was expensive. And I didn't wanted to spend above 10 lakhs for UG. For Nirma and Daiict I was not eligible due to marks in GUJCET Exam and also I don't qualify in it via JEE. I considered MBIT because firstly it was suggested by a very good family friend of mine. Secondly I got to know it is new and I knew that it will create new opportunities and I will get opportunity to set a benchmark every now and then. Admission process is merely simple just to apply for ACPC. ACPC ranking should be in the range of 8000-35000. If your ranking is between this you can apply for admission. It require ACPC Letter, 12th Marksheet, Gujcet result for proof and you are good to go.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty members are definitely not up to mark. By this I don't want to disrespect them, there are certain faculty who have completed PhD and are also very good at teaching but certain faculty are not able to deliver knowledge properly. Certain does not even have proper practical knowledge they only want to complete the portion. But not every faculty there are many who have proper knowledge of both practical and theory. I would name certain faculty who I liked most Shital Gondaliya Mam, Sneh Vyas Sir, Sagar Jani Sir, Ankita Chauhan Mam, Nirali Thakkar Mam, Deepti Mam,Sunit Parmar Sir,Niti Mam I would have surely forgotten one or two but these faculty are truely amazing. I would love to highlight Sagar Jani sir he is my counsellor too and also taught Engineering Graphics to me. There are two exams in particular per semester that is Mid Semester exam and External Exam (both theory and practical). There are also test in between. Course curriculum is also good but not best.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did write the course curriculum and Indus university as good and relevant. Overall I chose this course because it has strong fundamentals project work and practical exposure. The curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and internships, Though it could include more advanced tech technologies and industry certifications exams are regular, each semester and moderate, challenging, encouraging consistent study, but sometimes could be more practical oriented.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and covers all the basic and important subjects related to the field. This course includes both theoretical and practical subjects which influenced my decision to choose it. The syllabus helps in building strong fundamentals, but it is still more theory-oriented and less industry-focused. It prepares students for exams and higher studies, but for real-world skills, students need to do extra courses and self-practice. The exams are conducted every semester along with internal tests and are moderate in difficulty level. If a student studies regularly, the exams are not very difficult to clear. The curriculum should be updated more frequently and more practical, project-based and industry-related topics should be added.
