Likes

I liked the environment of the Oxford college
The building is huge and is very tall with 6 to 7 floors
I liked the accessibility.it is near to the bus stop

Dislikes

The washrooms are very dirty and both hygienic
Faculties are not punctual and they do not teach properly
The campus is too small there is no play ground

Course Curriculum Overview

Bachelor of computer application is a demanding course and as more scope yo it and also the syllabus is great and advanced where you can learn the recent trends and be updated along with the real world

Internships Opportunities

The internship for us was provided by the college we also had an option to choose out own company to do internship But for people who was not comfortable with that had another option which is to choose the internship provided by the college It was duration of one month and the internship was wonderful and we learnt so many things from it

Placement Experience

Many companies come for campus interview but most of the companies are non IT companies Only less people get placed in those companies and the package they provide will be from 2 lpa to 9 lpa There is a seperate placement cell in our college to look after it

Fees and Financial Aid

80000 rupees for the bca course And 2 years back it was 60000 Nad people from outside karnataka has separate fees structure and also people having less percentage in their pu exam There are no scholarship provided by the college There are no reduction of fees for particular category students

Campus Life

It was a good experience from my point of view I have enjoyed my degree life and also I have made so many new friends and also the faculties out there are very friendly and they support us And they also help us in every suitation and gudie us and they always wish us good and the campus there is accessable for all the necessary needs of the students

Admission

Firstly the college is affordable compared to the college in and around the place and also it is quite accessable to reach and also the college is having good name in the society where people recognise the college as a Good college

Faculty

Compared to students there are less faculty members Mohana Priya ma'am is the best faculty Her teaching is the best and also she try to solve students problem They conduct two internal exam and one semester exam

More Than Just a Degree: My College Experience

Placement Experience:

The college provides placements. Students who are in 6th semester of their degree courses are eligible for campus placements provided by the college. A lot of IT companies regularly walk in for job drive with annual package of 3-6 LPA. The college provides basic placement support, but employability mostly depends on individual skill development. After completing the degree, I plan to pursue higher studies or improve technical skills to get better career opportunities.

Placement Experience:

From the last year of the college which means from 5th and 6th semester the students become eligible for campus placements. Wipro Deloitte Empower [24]7 Cognizant Molecular Connections Pt Imt Bicon TCS and many more companies do come. I exactly dont know the no of offers made exactly. There are no offical records about the placements in past two years of BCA or they have not updated about placements yet but in 2022 the highest package was around 3.8 lac and the average package was around 1.8lac to 2.5 lac.The percentage of students placed in BCA is comparitevely low. My plans after completing the degree is to complete my Masters.

Placement Experience:

Students will be eligible for internships from the fourth sem of their course. There are many big companies who have visited the campus and made really good offers but if you want a good package the level of difficulty to get into this will also be high. The average package for BCA is 3,00,000 per annum. As per University information their placement rate is 91 percent. After getting the degree I'll be looking for a good company to work for and gain my knowledge.

I joined The oxford college of science in my second year of my course as it provided the opportunity to continue my education and pursue my academic goals , the college reputation for academic rigor and its ability to accomadae lateral entry student like me played a significant role in my deciision, which was crucial to me to join in the seecond year to continue my studies seamlesly without losing time. for eligibility for me is to complete my 1st year in the same feild from a recognised university , where i should not have any backlogs . marksheet of 1st year and transfer certificate and no objective certificate frm both university is required , The admission proceess was smooth with college administratioon being helpful throughoutly after submitting required document, i was admitted directly into 2nd year....Read More
