Read before taking admission in VNS

The curriculum of college decided by rgpv university. Which the college is affiliated. The curriculum is very old and does not help real world applications. It has huge need to change. The curriculum should be focus on practical knowledge more than therotical knowledge. And should removed those subjects which is outdated for this generation and introduce new subject which is needed for today's generation. I am very concerned about exam timing. Every time end sem exams are conducted late by the university and at the time of summer and winter internship. Other universities conducted their exams in time so the students of that university has enough time to do internship after exams . But RGPV's university students have no time to do internships because it's exams generally conducted late at the time of internships.

There is no internship provided by college. Students do internships by himself applying to companies. The main obstacle is generally endsem exam conducted at the time of summer and winter internship. So, many of the students don't do internship in entire course.

From the 7 semester students are eligible for college placements. In CS branch there is no company particularly visits our campus for recruitment. My college in association with other engineering colleges organise pool campus in which all the participating college students participate in campus recruitment process. The lowest package is 3.2 lpa and highest is 6 lpa

The annual fees of computer science and engineering branch is 45000 per year which includes tution fees, bus fees, library charge and etc all activities and college fests happened in college. There is exception for domicile students of MP those are fall under OBC and SC/ST category. They can take admission on the basis of scholarship amount which is given by MP government. They have to pay only extra bus fees 5000 per year and all other fees like tution, library and fest are paid through his scholarship amount no extra cost will be charged.

In my college there is two types of fests one is department level and one is group level. The group level fest is a large fest which is conducted in 2 to 3 years. And department level fests like tech fest and other fest having 1 to 2 times in a year. My college contains huge library which has all types of books and general available and students can access easily. By rgpv university every year sports competition organised for affiliated colleges in this all the students of college take part and showcase their talent.

I didn't apply any other college infact I didn't apply for this college also . I got call from this college then I take admission. Eligibility criteria of taking admission in this college is very simple. You have to pass class 12th from PCM with atleast 45% marks that's all.

There is enough faculties for theory subjects but ther is gap of teachers for perform practicals of subjects. The ratio of faculty to regular students is 1:10 . All facilities of engineering department is good but the best faculty which I felt is Harsh sir which is very helpful for students and also it's teaching methods is different they solves the every single doubt and deliver crystal clear concepts. In a single semester there is three exams . One is main exam End Sem conducted by university end of the semester. And two mid exams known as mid sem conducted by college in mid of the semester. All the exams easy to crack if you have cleared your concepts.
