Remarks

Overall GNIHM Kolkata is a good college in every aspect whether in academics or in extracurricular activities. The student has to choose the right path to be a success.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was good enough for a student to know about what a BHM is supposed to learn. GNIHM has its own exam structure. There is two end semester exam in a year.

Placement Experience

GNIHM Kolkata is well known for its placement statistics. The companies coming to campus placement offers a good salary. Mostly BHM people get more packages than any other branch. The college also invites companies to hire interns.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is the same as any other IHM in India. The first year it will be around 1.9 lakh, the 2nd year it will be around 1.2 lakh and the third and final year fee structure is also the same as the second year. Students can get scholarships also.

Campus Life

IN my first year, there were extracurricular activities as a subject. The labs have almost every facility. GNIHM Kolkata has a sports club. Students can play different kinds of sports like football, tennis, badminton, volleyball, etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors play an important role in a students life in GNIHM Kolkata. They help you with every activity. They help in selecting electives, joining clubs in college, they will help you in preparing for campus placements.

Admission

I gave the JET Entrance Test and I got a good rank. I opted for Hospitality and Hotel Administration in a bachelor of Science in GNIHM Kolkata. The admission process was quite easy.

Faculty

The faculty at GNIHM are good and friendly. You can ask any doubts related to the subject. They not only support you in subject matter but also in real life.

Build a Career with NSHM Durgapur

Placement Experience:

Most of students get more than 2 placements. They placement is over in 1 Month and now a lot of students are being placed in Europe, USA, Mauritius with a very good package. They are also placing students in Retails, FMCG, Entertainment and other areas. But i think the fee that we pay, we can get back only in third year when students can go for Internship, as they can earn more than 6-7 Lakhs and palcements is just too good.

NSHM Hotel and Tourism Management, Durgapur - A Place to Study

Placement Experience:

Students are given placements before the final year. A lot of companies come with Oberoi, Taj, Marriott and others. International Placements is done through companies who conduct online interviews, but i dont know what paramters they ask in interview. But placements is 100%. Placements in India is around 4LPA while International it is more than 12-15 LPA
