Likes

The space and its architecture. The space is a peaceful environment. Enough space to walk around for brainstorming.
The course schedules is good. With no overlaps between each other.

Dislikes

Some faculties are not upto standards. Like slow way of teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course that I opt for was of my liking from a long period of time. The curriculum is well organised and sufficient time is given for it. The curriculum helps to improve both your art skills aswell as your interective skills.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 290000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship process is based on one's portfolio. The better it is the better the company/brand/studio is. The institude prepares one to create a good portfolio in order to get a good internship. Then one have to apply for the studio of their choice. Based on your portfolio studios will give offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee is ?282000. The fee breakdown is not mentioned. The fee is same for all categories. There is scholarship based on ranking. Top 3 of each betch gets scholarships. 1st will get 50% of yearly fee. 2nd will get 30% and 3rd will get 15%.

Campus Life

The overall experience is positive as the campus is quite open with an amphitheater to sit and brainstorm. There are events based on festivals like Ganpati and Christmas and also there is foundation day. The library is quite good with books related to specific discipline. The classrooms are wide with 4ACs and the tables are also wide to put your drawing board and laptop, and other essential things. There are sports kits like football, cricket, badminton, etc. They also held interschool sport competitions. There are various number of clubs like literature, dance, sketching, theatre, music, etc. These clubs really increase the creativity level of everyone.

Admission

I applied for NID but I didn't qualify the second exam. So I took GLSID. The admission process is 2 ways. First is you have to give an exam(DAT) and then interview. 2nd is through portfolio. I got it through 2nd way. The overall experience is positive.

Faculty

The faculties are good and upto the marks. The faculties have no partiality. Although some do have. They are always there for support and mentorship. Strictness is a part of it(as required). The intersection secession is throughout the college session time.

My amazing experience in parul

Likes

Faculty is amazing and very cool to interact with
Campus is amazing and loved the facilities provided
Many events happpens here and they are very grand and well decorated

Dislikes

As it’s a big campus not everything is nearby
Strict about attendance and always scolding for it

Placement Experience:

They have tie ups with major big companies like Armani, reliance, Godrej and and many more. From 3rd students becomes eligible for Campus placements Minimum packages is 7,00,000 lakhs and highest is 14,00,000 98% is the placement rates as some also go for masters Most of the students get placement through the internship only and and rest of the students get help from the college if they want to go for another company

Experience of Parul University

Likes

Infrastructure is nice, good security for students.
Food in the campus is good rather than the hostel mess but that's too costly.
Events and functions are very nice and enjoyable.

Dislikes

Hostel faculties are very bad. Issue of hot water in winters.
We have to take gatepass and the process of taking gatepass is very time taking sometimes due to the server
Differentiate between girls and boys rules

I had interest in designing since I was in school so it was fix that I will choose designing but choosing this college wasn't a plan. It just happened and I took admission here and it's good for living and all

Faculty are good and the course is also good they are supportive
So in my class there are only 5 classmates
Faculty can give good feedbacks if the batch is small

Dislikes

Campus i don't like the campus as it is veryyy small
Classroom we don't have different classroom we are sitting with are seniors
Intruption during classes because 3 batches are sitting in one class

The course is good in first year we have a foundation course the from 2nd year the main bachelor of design in visual communication starts so we have 6subjects and one minor subject which ui/ux design we have visual merchandising , styling , cad , graphic design typography , history of printing

Preparing students for the future

Likes

Campus is so beautiful and peaceful and we have different events happening around campus.
We have small pond with ducks and idols with lotus around.
In campus canteen facilities is so good we love the food

Dislikes

Fees are already too high and they ask for more fees for extra activities.
There are no more ducks instead turtles are added.
They built a new building which made a most beautiful place to compact area.

Placement Experience:

After we finish our third year we can opt for placements for ehich we have to fill up the forms. Approx 50 srudents from each batch are guaranteed placements. I am planning to join my family business to gain experience and then to open my own office

Hostels here are really good and big have lot of space.
Campus here is really good, big and have a lot of space to chill .
The machines here used are so unique, excitement is different for learning that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Interior design as a career is a good option as you get to know a lot of things practically. The faculty is really good you can have one-to-one conversations whenever you want. They really give attention if you ask one. Our faculties have completed their mdes in interior. One year consists of 2 sem in which sem 1 has 2 parts one is jury which is taken by an external jury member and one from our faculty itself. They ask many questions but you need to have a proper reason for your every work.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I basically choose this course to explore the world more and explore myself too. The overall faculty is really good, keeps students motivated and helps them wherever the students get stuck. The faculty is highly qualified from well known institutes in India, and the term exams are held twice a year and passing the exam depends totally on your preparations.

The life of my college and me

Remarks:

First I am looking for government college but it get me out by 2 marks, then I try to apply private colleges where I can get as much as knowledge is possible, and have quite environment, so then I took GLS for my UG course, the college was quite environment and the college professor are very friendly they give as much as help possible to we want it grate to have that friendly environment with teachers and the stationery we need it near to college so its easy to go and buy stuff, that's why I choose this college.
