Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of st francis college is very well maintained. Everything and every one is under surveillance and supervision. It does help us with the real-world challenges that we may face. There are many extra activities.
Internships Opportunities
I am not sure about the internships provided for BSC students but the mass communication and commerce students get good internships after their colloge. Good roles are offered to them that help them succeed in future.
Fees and Financial Aid
The normal fees for my course of bachelors of science in nutrition, zoology and chemistry per annum is about 49,000/-, which makes up to about 1,50,000/- overall. Other than this, there is also extra fees for other activities anf extra curriculums
Campus Life
There are many fests and activities that happen accros the campus. The main event is yuvaflare, that is the main event that happens in the college once in a year where other college students are also welcomed. There are countless classrooms around the campus. There are 2 blocks- UG block and PG block. Every sport is played in this college and many students go to the state and national level. Many clubs are also a part of this college
Admission
I was considering on applying to madina college in hyderabad and also st anns college for women but everything about st francis appealed to me. Its campus, study focus and extracurricular activities are what atteacted to me to the most. I was just considering about those other colleges but never applied to them
Faculty
The faculty is very friendly to the students and helps them in everything. The nutrition faculty (mainly chanda ma'am and ananya ma'am) is the bestttt. They help with everything and their teaching style is the best. Pranshanti ma'am and asha ma'am from the chemistry faculty are the teachers i like the least There are 2 internal exams of 20 marks, that are comducted during one semester, out of which the best marks are selected and one semester end exam which is of 20 marks. While the other 20 is for skill tests and projects
Other Applied Colleges
Madina Degree and PG College for Women | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Applied Nutrition)
I didn’t opt for this college because i really liked the campus of st francis college and there are plenty of extra cirriculum activities in this college
