Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics

The name of the college Shree Damodar College of Commerce and Economics is very popular and well-known in Goa. As the teaching, events, exams, sports, etc is very good disciplined. The principal and vice principal make sure everything in college is good. Therefore I chose to go to this college.

Internship works like we used to work for a month as an intern anywhere and our one-semester assisgnment would be on the internship that we did for that month. If any student failed to do an internship they than had to do the assignment which teachers used to give.

As the year goes by the fee structure goes on increasing, For example in the first year it was 7k then in the second year it was 8k and in the third year it got to 9k. There are scholarship facility for SC and ST students. They can pay less the fees for example if the fees are 7k they can pay 5k.

In our college, there were many events. Fun week, Damodar Utsav, the biggest event of all time for our college is Anantara. Then some clubs like economic clubs were also included in NSS where we used to make a group and used to go to clean beach road for awareness.

In other colleges of Goa, our college was well known. because in other colleges there were no events trips etc it was purely study which for any student is boring. But in our college there were different activities trips events and many more therefore I chose to apply to this college.

The faculty members were nice regarding the marking structure. As some of the students were not very smart they used to give us the mark leniently and then told us to study hard and help us. The exam system was per class student in one class and one student on one bench with the supervision of a faculty member.
