Campus is really very good. College has excellent infrastructure. Good quality teachers.
Social life is good at MIT. Many good places in and around college to hang out with friends.
Various extra-curricular activities are conducted in college like Technical Fest, Sports Fest, etc. MIT NCC Troop is best thing to join.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mechanical Sandwich course is very good as it provides internship for two semesters. So one has degree with 1 year of industrial experience. As student gets exposure to industry during course it prepares for real world applications of their knowledge.

I did my internship at Volkswagen Pvt Ltd Chakan, Pune. I worked in the Bodyshop Planning department of Manufacturing division. As an intern I worked on various projects of the planning department to improve productivity and performance on the shop floor.

Placement Experience

Placements are good at college. In the second semester of third year one gets eligible for the campus placements. All the top companies visits for the placement. Packages ranges from 3-15 lakhs depending on the company and candidate. Average package is 5 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

1 lakh fees per year. SC\ST Category- 8000-10000 per year General Category- 1,00,000 per year OBC Category- 60,000 per year Government provides scholarship for various catrgories of students and based on income, so one can avail that.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good at MIT. Many annual festivals are organized like technical fest, sports fest and cultural festivals. Library is very good. All the modern facilties required for classrooms are available. Groups like MIT NCC Troop, Robocon Group, Cultural group, Magazine group are good to join.

Admission

MIT is one of top 3 colleges in Pune with a great campus, excellent infrastructure for labs and good quality teachers. One can get admission in the college depending on the course and marks. Campus is one of the major differentiating thing.

Faculty

MIT has good quality teachers. Faculty to student relationship is good and faculties are very much approachable. All the faculties are very good of Mechanical department with years of experience working in industries and teaching.

Sem 6 is considered preferable for the college placement many students starts getting placed from that, many companies like wipro, mahindra & mahindra, tcs, capgemini, etc. visits each year to the college each and every students gets atleast a offer to them few also gets more than one like 2 to utmost 3 also,750+ students got offered at the final year of 2023 if we include internship offer than it goes more than 1200, in campus highest package was 12lacs off campus was 62lacs, (85%)+ of the students gets placed each year in the college. After i get degree i would try for college placements and would also focus parallely for the off campus placements too, and ofc wherever i will get the highest placement i would go for it.

The Collegiate Perspective

i was willing to go to GECA (government college of engineering aurangabad) but i was not able to clear the cutoff. i was having 90.90 percentile in MHT-CET and cutoff was 91.8 Placement over that college is better than this college, and the the fees is lesser than this college, also GECA is well know in this region.
