A Happy Journey

The overall experience about this college is good and it is getting better day by day.

In Interior Designing, we are provided practical knowledge more than theoretical as it is or easy to understand, retain & understand. In Foundation i.e. First and second semester, we are taught basics of design in every aspect Interior Designing here is about acquiring knowledge and then implementing the knowledge in your projects like leaning the build concepts, drafting, model making and working in workshops, handling tools, machines. We have a monthly review or jury where we display all our work, explain our concepts & build our confidence until the final jury. In the last semester, we have a 6 months internships programme.

On the initial stage, we are asked to find internships on our own, to get experience about how to deal with people, talk professionally. They also have good contacts in industries and tie-ups.

We have different competitions during the fest in which have a good amount of students participate every year like the band, dance, fashion show, nukkad naatak, creating from waste. We do have competitions during festivals like rangoli making companions during Diwali, face mask or theme competition during Halloween, etc.

Fee structure includes annual fees of Rs.1,40,000. Other expenses may include your traveling expense, a stationary expense like buying colors, sheets, varieties of pen, etc. Other expense can be around Rs. 10,000 per month. and things like laptops are a compulsion.

I haven't opted for any scholarships or education loan yet. But the procedure is easy and simple. You have to submit all the documents demanding your qualifications.

Campus life is peaceful, happening different activities all around the year. Labs having different machinery as per our needs. Workshops machinery like wood cutting, CNC Machine, different tools, help for lighting by the electrician. The gender ratio in designing colleges is usually more girls and less number of males. But here the ratio doesn't have much difference.

Hotel fees at first were Rs.1,05,000 and increase every year y 10%. The rooms we are provided are big enough to keep or things easily. We are provided with attached washroom. different types of rooms are there like single sharing, double sharing & triple sharing. Food in the mess is healthy.

We are the senior most batch in your university so, we are helping our juniors in every possible way.

The admission process was like many other colleges in India Firstly, filling the registration form. Then Creative Ability Test and then the interview. It was in the month of July. I thought about choosing this course in 10th standard while reading the book 'Beautiful Homes' in the school library. It was full of colors, creativity & innovations. I researched about this course and found that it has a bunch of things related to planning & organizing, working out with space management, adding colors to places.

The faculty here are experienced and have good industry knowledge. We can discuss our problems and they will guide us in every possible way. They bring us on the right track. They are friendly and helps us. We just need to submit our assignments on time and be a little disciplined.
