What Students Say

Likes

Good exposure of patients with various type of disease.
Most beneficial thing is medical College is interconnected with physiotherapy college.
Campus is very nature friendly with no pollution.

Dislikes

Faculties are not so good they don't take students that seriously.
Canteen has limited option for food and it is much coslty.
As physiotherapy college is integrated with the medical College there are limitations for celebrating events.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is 50-50 half is theory based and half is practical based which gives us chance to improve our practical skills. I suggest that the curriculum should involve surface anatomy and radiology for this course as those 2 things are most important for the diagnosis.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 117000 per year

Internships Opportunities

This college itself offer 6 month of internship without stipend. Each month we have to work in different departments like musculo, neuro, cardio and community. As a intern we get opportunity to apply our practical skills on the patients and to gain experience. With the practice also there is research project compulsory for the internship.

Placement Experience

This is the only physiotherapy college in Maharashtra where campus placement is held. Physiotherapy firms like child rehab centre, one rehab, etc 50 of my seniors are selected for the placements. Average salary of placement is around 6 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual fees for this course is 1 lakh 17 thousand but Maharastra government provide scholarship for OBC, ST, SC categorie. OBC gets 50% of scholarship and more than 50% for SC and ST categories. Fees detail are available on the website of college.

Campus Life

Annual cultural events are gathered every year. Which includes various days, bollywood night, gathering. Also sports week is organised like cricket, basketball, table tennis, badminton, volleyball and athletic.And extra circular activities like multi diagnostic camp and workshops are held.

Admission

I was willing to take admission for this course in Nashik only but Nashik has 4 colleges for Bpth of which this is the only college that is integrated with medical College hence giving us more opportunities to learn about numerous diseases. Admission process for this is by qualifying NEET by atleast 250 plus marks.

Faculty

Not so good bonding between students and teachers. Only few of them are good teacher who put efforts for the students. Neuro physiotherapy faculty are better. Yearly there are 2 terminal exams conducted by college and 1 annual University exam is conducted.

The curriculum followed is maharashtra university mandated for the bachelors of physiotherapy. The practical knowledge is good at the associated hospitals. During the Covid period the number of opd patients had reduced which led to a half at the practical learning but was compensated during the internship period.

The course is good . The paper timing is 3 and half hour the time is not sufficient for the paper. In the exams we cannot take the extra suppliments . The paper checker does not give the full marks for the answers if you have written all the stuff . The difficulty level of exam is hard

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked the course because of its simplicity and authenticity , both is the degree where u can cure a patient without any medicines , the whole concept based is on the exercise therapy n instruments the way bpth has its based , the curriculum has the best syestem ie terminals prelims and university which makes practice even more great . And gains confidence about the ongoing year , improvement is as such noneeded but the number of pratice examination if increased it will be great for the community, be it difficult or not but because of examination the certain level of difficulties are already overcomed beacuse of the examination already held

My thoughts about my college

I chose this college over other 2 because this fill my requirement like the college should be old experienced and with good patients flow for practical experience. Admission is done by CET cell website registration through neet UG exam if we have required marks we get allotment to that college then we have to go college with all required documents and DD of college fees . This college has an advantage as there is no dental college in nearby cities or town as in Major cities. So the patient pull from nearby cities or districts comes directly to this college as it's nearby district. Nandurbar has no dental College Dhule just has a single dental College, which is (ACPM) dental College itself. Nashik Main city doesn't have any dental colleges.
