Course Curriculum Overview
If I compare course curriculum to government colleges of Gujarat then it is way better than them but it still lacks practical subjects and industry oriented skills which are necessary for students to grow in corporate world. Exams was conducted on monthly basis as unit tests and then final semester exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid 98000 per year tution fees and 2000 per semester as examination fees. The other college in university have higher fees then my college for same branch which is 126000 per year, examination fees excluded. I passed out in 2024 right now fees were increased in both colleges. NRI quota has highest fees which is around 2 lakh.
Campus Life
I am an introvert guy so I was not involved in many clubs and social gatherings but as social aspects charusat provide great environment, infrastructures is beast and well maintained, in campus there is a Library which provides range of books and articles, sports activities are also there , campus have larger ground area to accomodate all the outdoor sports
Hostel Facilities
I stayed in private hostels outside the campus, for boys they don't have hostel facilities , so we have to make arrangements in outside privately held hostels which was expensive and comfortable at the same time. Different hostels have different facilities, depends on how much you pay
Admission
I wanted to take admission in computer engineering branch in any college. Firstly I applied for government colleges of Gujarat which was best for engineering like LD, VGEC , MSU Baroda and some private universities like nirma but I didn't able to get admission in such a college because of merit. Then I applied to charusat university. Charusat is good compare to other private universities but in comparison of top government colleges , they are good in placements and average package then charusat
Faculty
Faculties are good, provide theoretical knowledge, doesn't focus much on practical knowledge. Relationship between faculty students is good, interactive and collaborative I liked my maths teacher of 2nd semester jimit patel he was to good in explaining complex topic. I didn't liked many faculties because of their treatment towards students was not so good.
Other Applied Colleges
Nirma University - [NU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
I didn't got enough marks to get nirma
