MITS Gwalior and it's College life

I have applied for many government colleges via MPDTE counselling after giving JEE MAINS EXAM and from counselling I got this college and taken admission in this college.I have also applied in some private colleges of MP but when I got government college so I preferred to study in government college over private college. Eligibility to take admission in this college is JEE MAINS qualified and he need to participate in MPDTE counselling and get this college.Admission process is very easy.You just need to report to college after getting allotment from counselling with all your documents and fees.And they will verify all documents and submit photocopy of those documents and you need to pay fees and get admission....Read More

I choose this college because it has strong reputation since 1947 and good placement with affordable fee compared to other option I applied for. I also considered a few private colleges but preferred this one as the admission is true J based counseling with clear eligibility and cut off rank. As I love cars and machine That's why I chose the mechanical engineering and I was from the background of the business which was auto parts business which lead me to go with the mechanical branch and in this college mechanical branch faculty is fabulous they have extremely good knowledge which with the help of hands on experience also....Read More

In terms of Freedom and Research its the best as it gives great priority to research, but we have IITM Gwalior, which is way to better in labs and other facilities, our labs equipment are outdated; however they have purchased a few new lab equipments for other branches, in terms of placment its not doing well this year still I feel LNCT is going way too better, Infra of college is good, but the crowd of college does not seems impressive Initially, I chose LNCT main campus, but since it was a private college, and MITS was a government college so I opted for MITS over LNCT main campus. Apart from having some financial problems and in government-funded colleges, there are lower fees and have a great scope to opt for a scholarship, so I preferred MITS. Fees was the major reason for me to not go to private colleges, apart back then MITS had a very great placements as well. For admission you can take admission my MP-DTE counselling or by 12th marks as well, generally the prefer students by JEE so advisable to give JEE as remaining seats as filled by CLC round(12th marks based), since I have observed the cutoff is reduced drastically, it can be due to increase in college seats and introducing new branches, also can be because people think now it's private as it's now DU and also due to high fees hike as well...Read More

I choose MITS because of its strong academic reputation, a nice infrastructure, and affordable to me if compared to fee structure to private colleges. I has also applied to other institutes but can make it to the entrace exam or felt they were too expensive. MITS offered admissions through JEE Mains and state level counselling with transparent eligibility criteria and clear cutoffs, making the process straightforward, The admission experince was smooth and well organized. While some freinds made it to NITs and provate universities, I preferred MITS for its balanced campus life and I would say, I am satisfied with my choice....Read More

This college provides best placements over all branches as compare to other colleges, this college focuses on all branches like in other colleges they are focusing on only computer science placement but in mits gwalior it focuses on all other branches also and their facilities are so good...Read More

the main reason for choosing this college was it became an autonomy and it is literally one of the most thriving colleges currently due to being semi government, and partially belonging to scindia lineage. i also applied for RJIT and i got a confirmed admission in cse but the college was in outskirts which brought doen the safety factor of the college and miits is like in the middle of city so i can go by my own conveyance, i did not recieve any rejection from any college as this was my first choice, the admission process included the counselling by mpdte, you bring two copies of all the listed documents fill the online and offline forms, get both signed and sealed and submit the fee os first semester right there and you are done, i know it does not sound much time consuming here but trust me it takes a whole day to do it....Read More
