Likes

I liked various activites including curricular and co-curricular activities.
Placements are good for BTech and B Pharma
Faculties are also very supportive and helpful

Dislikes

Sports activites are not much that great.
Social interactions with seniors was not good.
Dress code was not good and can be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties can be changed for the better of students. B Pharma is a good field but i think business is the only option to earn more in this field. Placements in B Pharma are mostly of Marketing line and QC companies are one or two only.

Placement Experience

I got placed in Troikaa Pharmaceutical Ltd last year after 7th semester. However BTech students got placed after 6th semester. Highest package for BTech: 8LPA For B Pharma: 3LPA. About 40% of students got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees: 82000 including tution fees, caution fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees, etc. Registration charges yearly: 9000 Scholarship: UP Scholarship i.e. 40-50k depending on reservation.

Campus Life

Various functions are conducted in college like Fest, Farewell Party, Teacher's day, sports fest, etc. Library has got good range of books and journals. Seniors are very supportive in extracurricular activities.

Admission

I gave UPSEE exam in which i got selected in IEC College so i did'nt have other options. So i thought of doing B Pharma itself. Eligibility: 60% in 12th Board by science background. Moreover different eligibilty criteria for reservations.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is fine but can be improvised. Some subjects are understandable by students. Exams are held 2 times in a year (University semester wise exams) CT exams are held 4 times in a year where, marking is done by college itself.

Is AKTU right choice?

Placement Experience:

Placement cell does provide opportunities for getting placed in many organisations, however the primary focus is on just getting students placed regardless of organisation's reputation and the job profile. The placement process begins from 7th semester. MNCs don't approach this college for the course, which a very big backlash. Highest package offered was 4.2 LPA and average package was somewhere around 2-3 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

No effect of the circulism I have choose this course because of my family pressure and also I have a minor interest in this field. I think in this course the practical area must be improved and also the timing and difficulties of exam is normal.

Placement Experience:

The placements at KIET School of Pharmacy are decent and improving every year, but they are not like engineering placements where everyone gets a package on campus. Pharmacy placements work differently, and KIET tries to support students as much as possible. Most companies that come for B.Pharm are from areas like Regulatory Affairs, Quality Control, Medical Coding, and Pharma Sales. A few companies also hire for Production and QA in manufacturing. The average package usually stays around ?2.5–4 LPA, and some students get higher depending on their skills and internships.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, you can get campus placement. Since our college was established in 2019, it does not have a placement record. As it is a government college you will get placement for sure. If I would get this degree I would work in the pharmaceutical industry and Open a Medical store.

Absolutely satisfied with college but not with infrastructure.

As per my knowledge iec college is one of the oldest and well known college of greater noida it was famous for a good alumni network as well as for his placement and entrepreneurship cell. All the colleges around this college is new so i don't get the chamce to meet or interect with our alumni.
