Naraina college faculty of pharmacy Course Review

I choose this course because I had a great interest in the world of medicines and this college suited all my requirements. In this course we are given practicals and theories that are necessary for getting a job and practice of making medicines which are very important skill for getting job in pharmaceutical manufacturing unit in companies. The teaching methods sometimes need to be approved like only one method should not be told but different methods of solving questions and practicals must be introduced so that students can use the method which best suits them. The frequency of exams is a little bit high because after joining in 2 months you have to give CT1 ( Class test 1 ) exams and then after 1or 2 months again you have to give CT2 and after 1 months you have to give practicals and then semesters. The difficulty of the exams is medium not very easy and not very tough and students who study sincerely can clear it with good marks.

I didn't opted for any internship program but my some friends did internship in different pharmaceutical companies. My one friend did his internship in Cipla company and he was getting stipend of about 10-15k per month. The companies selected talented students by taking a test and then the candidates have to do the projects given by the companies to them and they have to give their best. My friend selected for internship in cipla company gave his best in the company for one year during the internship and later he was permanently appointed in the company due to his project positive outcomes and he got a handsome salary package.

The eligibility criteria for placement was based on only one thing that is mantaining a good track record in all aspects. Many companies come for recruitment like Cipla, and other pharmaceutical companies for our degree program. The highest package was offered to a student which was 10 LTC pa, and Lowest was 2 LTC pa. In our college, about 50 to 60% of students get placement and many got campus placement also. My plans after completing b pharm is to do my masters in pharmacy and then I want to join a good pharmaceutical company in the manufacturing unit. Its is the greatest plus point for my college that if its students are not getting placements than they can get campus placements also. The students in the last semester of the course are eligible for the campus placement drives in which different companies visit our college and hire the talented students.

The fees chart is as follows for every students in b pharm course : 1. 84576 ? for one year 2. 5000 ? exam fee every year 3. 2000 registration fee one time 4. 1100-1500 lab fee one year Total fees for one year can be around 91000 to 92000 including all costs. Scholarships are provided every year based on the exam merit and also without them. Students can avail about 20% to 60% scholarship depending on their category and scholarship form is filled every year in the college which comes under the UP scholarship program.

Our college has diverse types of fests and sports festivals. Some of the fests are... 1. World pharmacist day celebrated in October. 2. Freshers party by seniors in November. 3. Pharmacy fest in December. 4. Sports and cultural events in December and many more... Our college has a huge library which has a vast collection of books and journals and it is nice and clean. Our college sports events include many sports like kho-kho, kabaddi, chess, carrom, badminton,etc

Our college admission to b pharm course is based on the cuet exams and also direct admissions are also given based on 12 marks. I choose this college over any other college because it is the best college for pharmacy in kanpur according to me because of many reasons like : 1. It has a vast campus area. 2. Its infrastructure is very good. 3. It is very good in cleanliness and maintenance. 4. It has a hospital of its own inside the campus. 5. Fees is very affordable in comparison to other colleges. Candidates mostly prefer the cuet exam for admission to this course in this college. I didn't selected any other college because i knew that this college is best for b pharm and it is very good in all facilities.

The overall faculty of the college is so polite, helping and good in nature. Sometimes their teaching methods are different and difficult but if you study hard than you will understand everything. The faculty includes young lecturers to experienced doctorate level professors whose teaching methods are good. The term exams were always on time except sometimes be a little late. The difficulty level was not very easy and not very tough, exams were moderate and they require students to have proper knowledge to Crack the exams and those who study harder can also top the exams like Me. ( Actually I am a topper in my course because I study this course with so much interest.

Our college is in the main city in panki and it is the greatest plus points for the students to enjoy the social life also. There are 3 nearest gyms near our college which provide students to maintain their health. Cafeterias like bee tea cafe and night cafe are some famous coffee spots near our college and the nana park is famous among students of our college to hangout. .) Campus timing during study are 9am to 4pm and the timing for hostel is a little bit strict that no one can go outside after 8pm and if want to go than he needs permission by telling a legit reason. .) Our famous hangouts places inside the campus are the cafeteria and the park and specially the fountain area is a special attraction for the students. .) Roaming is safe around the college at night because there are about 2-3 guards on every gate so it is safe but roaming at latenight is punishable.
