- RGUKT IIIT RKV is a campus located in valley region, which consists of greenary everywhere, which gives you mental peace and relaxation.
- Our college also consists of a large play ground, along with it eacourage multiple sports and indoor games
- One more thing I have to mention is the faculty is really friendly and supportive.
Dislikes
- The only problem that I don't like is It has no connectivity with any city, as it is situated very far from city.
- The encouragement towards the sports is very less from PET's which is really a disappointment.
- One more thing is canteen menu is very limited.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen Computer Science which I am interested in. As usual computer science is the most demanded course these days, and that made great competition to get into it. Usually, the curriculum provides the structure for your academics and also encourages you to build real-world appliucations.
Internships Opportunities
Overall the internship oppurtunities provided is not satisfactory. College does not emphasize and meet the needs that a college should provide a student in getting an internship opportunity. I hope the situation changes.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are the most important aspects of a college. Our college has a good placement rate which is being increased every year after COVID resection. Most of the companies visiting our college include Infosys, Intel, TCS, NacTech, and many more startups. The average package might be around 4 to 6 lpa. Nearly more than 60 percent of the students are placed every year in the Computer Science department. You can also do your masters after your Btech.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure comprises tuition and hostel fees, including the meal plan. The tuition fee is 45000 per annum, and the hostel fee ranges from 35000 to 40000 per annum. All other fees like caution, registration, admission, and lab fees are included in hostel fees. All students are eligible for the scholarship except those whose parents are government employees. The eligible students could receive a full scholarship while the remaining had to pay the complete fee.
Campus Life
Library has many books that covers all departments and daily newspapers are also provided. tech fest and cultural fests happen now and then. Infrastructure of the labs and classrooms are top level and sports meet happen every year that includes sports like cricket,basket ball,hockey,baseball,hand ball.
Hostel Facilities
Mess menu is not followed too strictly,changes are made. The quality of mess food is just ok but sometimes it is not eatable. Hostel rooms are provided according their year of study and 2 students are given a room to share.
Admission
I have only one option, and that is to enroll in this college, as it is one of the best colleges in our state, providing quality education along with practical applications. You can also join this college after completing your 10th grade, based on your 10th-grade score. The minimum average marks required to get into our college are 590 or more for general category students, and this may vary based on your reservation category. You can apply to this college through the official RUKT website.
Faculty
When discussing the faculty-to-student ratio, it's approximately 1 teacher for every 25 students. The faculty members are readily available at all times, even after college hours, to address any doubts. I like all of the teachers, with a special appreciation for our math teacher, Mr. Madan. He not only teaches math but also imparts valuable ethics and values. The exam pattern consists of 3 midterms and 1 final exam for each semester. It will be easy if you follow your teachers.
