Course Curriculum Overview

We have odd and even semesters for our exams. We are allowed to write the exams for 3 hours. Before the semester exams we have internal exams in that we have tests , assignments and projects. So , 25 marks for internals and 75 for externals.

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 340 per year

Placement Experience

In the final semester, the students are eligible to attend the placements options. The highest package is 25000. Many companies are came for the placements. after getting the degree I have decided to go for a job.

In queen's Mary's College, Fees structure for the course B.com (general) below : I have paid For 1 st year fees -1721, 2 nd year fees -580 and 3 rd year fees -341 Also I have received caste scholarship for 1st year MBC scholarship for 1 st year -1151

Campus Life

Yearly , we have culturals and Pongal celebration. We have library here to access various books and other sources. More sports options and also we have yearly sports day. We have so many clubs like NSS , Rotaract, etc.. All of these help the students to access various talents.

Admission

I have applied 3 more colleges for this course. Also I get admission offer , but I rejected that . After that I got offer from this college . I have called for the counselling on 8, August 2022. the eligibility for the students to join is cut off marks more than 390 cut off can be. Admitted easily.

Faculty

We have 6 semesters for the course B.com (general) I like my department staff members because they are very dedicated in teaching and make the students learn a lot. In 1 st year we have 14 papers for the exams 2 nd year we 14 papers for the exam 3 rd year we have 10 papers

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students get campus placements. Highest ever is 80LPA i think from deloit or KMG. Mostly students get placements about 75% get placements. My plan after getting degree is clear CA inter and finals.

Placement Experience:

The placements in sastra is immaculate they have nothing to complaint of .Students from my course given placement training and eligible for placements from third year. Large scale of campanies have visited. some of them will be Tata consultancy(TCs), Paypal, federal banks ,Infosys etc. The highest package was 90000 per month and average package was 25000 per month. Students who have 8.5 cgpa or more will have pretty good offer from reputed companies. Plans after getting my degree is to do masters in abroad.

A view on recent days MCC

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester onwards the management made various efforts to conduct oncampus And they made it. Some companies which visited our campus is tata groups , vindhya e infomedia, wipro etc. Highest package offered is 3,00,000 per annum most probably 80 % of students placed. My plan after degree is to place in good reputed company.

Remarks:

Positive is good atmosphere and campus Negative is we can’t enjoy the campus because whenever we cut a class the department cut our international mark and we can’t write exam without 75% mark

QMC life

I applied for MCc college unfortunately i did noy get seat due to cut off mark. And i also Applied QMC also and i got call from queen marys college. Among the college in chennai i choosed QMC. I chose this college for a friendly environment. It is one of the oldest colleges and by seeing the alumni list I selected this college. I selected the college only for the course.
