Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Presently the curriculum we follow for MBBS is CBME. This CBME curriculum is a lot better and more interactive than the previous curriculum. This curriculum improves interaction between students and teachers. The duration of exams is 3 hours.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is around 10000 per year. There are various Scholarships available for the students. There are no such things as caution fees, development fees or lab fees. The admission fee is around 30-40k ( based on the category).

Campus Life

4

The overall social life on campus is good. We have something or the other going on in the college every month. We have conferences, fests, sporting events, social service events, research sessions, and club events.

Admission

I chose Osmania Medical College because I could not get any other better college. In comparison with other colleges, Osmania Medical College has a lot of hospitals under its name. A lot of hospitals give you a large clinical exposure.

Faculty

3.5

There are internals, prefinals, and finals Need 50 percent or more to pass the exams Generally, the exam paper standards are high Every year few students fail to clear the examination. The faculties are well educated, and they are helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. The internship here is stipended by ?26000-/- per month. Every year mcc is renewing the syllabus according to to demands of indian medical system. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is PRETTY big. Its really big, actually. Sometimes its hard to handle, because of its bulk, some of it is relevant some of it is not, in the clinical applications but you have to study that to jncrease your knowledge, while the exams are focused on a few important topics out of the curriculum, thoee topics are meant to be focused on, more as they carry more clinical importance than the others.
