Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is that there was almost half of the time is given to club activities. But later I discovered that it was all for show and they changed the curriculum. I guess they don't prepare you for real world, You can only experience how to handle your frustrations, anger and guilt of your decisions. I guess whole curriculum is wrong they don't update their curriculum according to outer world and they don't teach stuff important for company placement. Is is 4 year course where we have to give 8 semester papers and each year have 2 semester, 1st from September to Jan then paper and 2nd from March to July then papers.

Placement Experience

4.5

3rd and 4th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Companies like vipro ,TCS, Microsoft, asensure have visited my college, great offers are also given by them. Highest package would be around 6LPA and average is around 4LPA. Only 3% students get placement from campus placement. I will go for off campus placement and hit a well paying job .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Yearly fees would be around 70000, where every other fee is included in it except of personal development fees which is around 7000. And we have to pay for exam registration fees which is also around 7500 , if have any back you have to pay 1000 for per back paper .For SC, ST it is around 30000 and on it they also get scholarship from Government of 25000, so they have to pay only for exam registration fees and 5000 College fees

Campus Life

4.5

Only Panache and Sports are great other than that our college Don't support any of other club activities and other stuffs . They don't have journals in library. They use windows xp or 7 with 4 gb ram with no graphics card in it .

Admission

I haven't applied for any college but I would have confirmed admission Chandigarh University,Amity and two other colleges from south . I choose this college because i want to live with my parents for few more years. There is no eligibility criteria and exam or anything you only have to fill a form and have to pay fees only.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty to student ratio is around 10:700 . In which only 70 students comes to college on daily basis. Faculty members are approachable but they don't have that much of knowledge about current situation in IT field so they can't guide you to right path, they will only say study books . In my personal opinion I only like one Faculty members in our college Yashwant sir because he doesn't make hassle of every thing they don't force us to do things , they tell what is important and let us free to try everything. On other hand other teachers always force us to do things in old fashioned manner Like instead of coding on PC they say to write code on paper. Exams are easy anyone can pass with 1 months of preparation.

Other Applied Colleges

SR Group of Institutions - [SRGI] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning)

Because it is near to home , And I want to send remaining 4 years with my parents because after that I have to move in another city for work.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of our college is of top quality. Facilities like classrooms, Wi-Fi, labs, etc, available in our college are good. Facilities are easily available to students. The library is too good for anyone to sit and study for long hours. Teachers in our college are very helpful, and they are always available to help us. They plan the schedule in a very effective way. Many teachers are PhD holders. They have good knowledge of their subjects, both practical and theoretical. The course curriculum is relevant, and it mainly focuses on what industry demands.
