SRGI overview

The negative remarks is that tough it is located in a good location but it is not managed properly. By the time it was established , it used to be a great college but by the time the condition is getting worse.

The course of my college has been set up by the university. The course is average not too tough not too simple. In every semester there are one or two numerical based subjects and others are theory based subjects specifically related to our branch and one subject related to management.

I am a final year student and the placement is going on in college. In this year placement is better than it was last year. Many companies related to many branches are coming and recruiting students. The salary package is about 1.5 to 2 lakhs which is often similar for any company for freshers.

The annual cultural and tech fest conducted by the college named panache is full of fun. The annual sport event is also conducted by our college named velocity. Both the events are well conducted by college authorities. In panache, it is most probable that a celebrity will come every year.

The fee structure is feasible, it is not expensive. It is about 1 lakhs per year for b.tech , i don't know about other courses but if you are interested you may get full information from college site- www.srgi.ac.in.

This college provides scholarships for economically weak students. This scholarship is called prayas, which is based on the marks obtained by you in entrance exam conducted by university. If your score is good you may avail upto full scholarship on tution fee.

The labs of this college is eqipped with many instruments but due to less care taken, most of the instruments does not work properly. It could be better because practicals are equally important.

I have not opted for hostel because i live in jhansi. But i have some friends , who lives in hostel, so i know something about hostels. There are two categories of hostels one is a little bit cheaper than the other. The food is average not too bad like it has been shown everywhere on social media about mess food.

I have not been so much in contact with seniors but whenever i need to consult something, they helped me. There was no ragging like incident ,i have ever faced nor witnessed it. There is a good bond between senios and juniors.

I got admission in this college by entrance exam conducted by dr. A P J abdul kalam technical university. The procedure was quite simple and i have not face any specific problem. It includes various steps like document verification, choice filling , seat confirmation etc.

Overall it is a good college. if you are living in the area near jhansi city and you want to do technical courses without going outside the city, you may take admission in this college without any doubt.
