The Lucknow University

During my graduation I opted for B.com because I thought that what if I feel like going in the banking sector though I always had keen interest in Literature. After graduation I decided that I'll go for Masters in Literature from the same university and finally I got admitted too. There was flexibility and I got good guidance from the faculty members as I was skeptical of my choice but now see I am pursuing PhD which is a big deal.

I am not availing any scholarship. There are many scholarships available for the reserved category and they get the benefit from that but there is a limit set for ex- If your father's income is more than the required slot, you will not get the scholarship

University conducts many annual festivals and it was always a treat to be a part of the functions. In my first year of graduation I participated in the singing choir and the programme went really well. The campus life here in the university is also very good. There are seperate hostels for boys and girls. And the infrastructure and the ambience is very good. The food which you'll get in the mess is cooked with full cleanliness and hygiene which reminds people of home cooked food. University also offers many sports events related to cricket, football and volleyball. The social groups in the university mainly ABVP is an organisation which fights for the rights of students and help the students in the best way possible .

First of all, it is the Lucknow University. It was my dream since class 12th to start off my graduation journey from Lucknow University. I was always fascinated by the extremely beautiful building and the old campus. Finally after clearing the entrance exam I got admission. University was my first and last choice and I got it too. The admission process is simple and easy which is hastle free.

I started my graduation journey in 2016 and there was a rollercoaster of emotions. When it comes to the teaching faculty of b.com, I had healthy relations with all my professors and they were always ready to help me. Later when I did Masters in English from the University, I found that Arts faculty too is very understanding and helpful. The professors were always there to guide me and clear all my doubts regarding the subject matter.
