- Infrastructure of the class, cleanliness
- Air conditioning of whole campus interiors.
- New Auditorium which is biggest in Eastern Odisha
Dislikes
- Non AC hostel rooms. No option of AC Hostel
- Residence team - worse. If possible, bachelors should live outside the campus in nearby PGs.
- No coordination among residence management team. Punishes the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was prepared to take this course along with its specialization from the beginning as I wanted a desk job, i opted for BBM HR and whoever wants field job more or other reason, they can opt for BBM marketing etc.
Placement Experience
6th semester students are eligible to sit for placement HDFC, yes bank, GS Bitlabs,Zomato,etc companies came to hire UG BBM/Bcom students. Avg package was around 4-5 lakh and highest was around 7.5 lakh 5 out of 50 students get placed My plans after UG is persuing MBA
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for BBM/Bcom was ?76,000 per semester i.e ?1,52,000 yearly which increases after next batch comes. Caution fees all together they take is ?10,000. Admission fees ?15,000. Fees for my batchmates were also the same. Scholarships are given every year to those who scored more than 90% in mandatory subjects in 12th boards. And also to those who maintain their CGPA in college with a particular criteria (9 CGPA+ in BBM/Bcom).
Campus Life
Annual fests like Xamboree, Xuphpria, Xuhotsav, Xplosions etc are held after every 1-2 months. All range of books, journals are available in library and anyone can issue them to take home for appointed dates. Classrooms are fully air conditioned with projectors. Sports equipments along with grounds are there for different sport. Clubs are also there for students to enjoy and involve in those activities
Hostel Facilities
1table,1chair,1bed,a cupboard will be provided and only double sharing room is there. Meal quality and food menu are also good compared to other college hostels. Hostel accommodation is affordable easily at Rs 25000 per semester and food around 6,000 per month. I was in hostel so i dont know about any locality for PG....but it will be there around the college
Admission
Elegibility of course is 60% above in boards Direct interview was taken during my admission process and basic 10th-12th standard questions were asked. Application fee was roughly around ?2000-2500 Reservation benefits maybe there
Faculty
Faculties are bery understanding and supporting but in my 6 semesters, i studied from around 20 faculties and from them, only 4-5 faculties were there who weren't cooperative with the whole class and therefore, we complained with the dean regarding these matters. Else all the faculties are A+ grade helpful, kind, and motivating.
Interview Experience
Only interview process was there in white there were 2 panels and they asked basic questions about 10th and 12th stream related. Not any tough question No preparation needed. Just pur body language, speaking skills should be good.
