Course Curriculum Overview

2

I joined dentistry so that I can open my own clinic and not work under someone else . But this college does not prepare you for real world applications. Most of the students join pvt clinic to learn clinical work . There will be no improvement unless the no. Of patients are increased in clg . This college has OPD of around 20-40 patients per day which is very low for a dental college.

Internships Opportunities

2

You have to compulsary complete rotatory internship in the college itself. The internship lasts for 1 year . They give you rs1500 stipend, and if you are absent for a day they will deduct 50rs each for a day and 100rs of you are absent on Saturday. And after completion of internship if you have many absentees then they can give you extension.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year I paid Rs250000/- for tution fee and 75000/- for hostel. They charge you Rs15000/- per year for examination fee . Some students get discount if they are known to college administration, but there is no scholarship program provided by the college although state govt scholarship are available if you are eligible

Campus Life

3

This college does not have any fixed month for program. Some year they organise diwali fest around diwali but it's not organised every year . In my 7 year college life I have attended 3 diwali fest only . Sports Sparda is organised in February month butvsame goes for it as well.

Hostel Facilities

2

You will get a bed , an almirah, table chair only and one room is occupied by 3 students which makes it too uncomfortable and small . You will be asked at the time of admission if you wish to opt for hostel . 75000 for a year in which the mess is included and you have to do your own laundary. The food in mess is just like any other mess , the food is ok ok not that great . 4 time meals are provided.

Admission

You must have cleared NEET exam and you should score above the cutoff of the same year you would take admission. The cutoff is varied according to central government rules . After 12th you should appear for NEET UG exam .

Faculty

1

The faculty to student ratio is very low , each department has 3-4 staff only and most of the young staff is graduated from our same college. Some HODs are great but they don't have any time for undergraduate students. There are almost 40-45 staff for around 600-700 students.
