Parul university in a nutshell

I choose civil in this university because the teachers are good and the labs are well equipped. In first year the teach all the basic subjects which are common in all branches . There are weekly exams ,mid sem exams and end sem exam . So you keep touch to your course.

You can get internship opportunities after the 4th sem . There are various companies which comes for intership or you may get internship in parul university itself such as my first friend ,hostel management etc. For civil you can work as site inspector in the parul university. You can work both part or full time and earn ranging from 6 to 15 k rupees .

You are eligible for placement after the 6th semester and there are various companies that are visiting such as Wipro, TCS, Zomato and various other startups.The average package here is 5 to 6 lakh and highest offered package is 48 lakh. But most of the placements are in computer science .Around 60 to 70 percent of the students gets placement. I am in civil engineering so I may give some govt exams or I will be a govt contractor.

The semester wise fees is 64500 and 10000 is registration fees so yearly fees is 140000. There is also a sports quota and for defence personnel children . Most of the people get scholarship of 40000 in first year and if you maintain your cgpa you may get it in next year also. The fees for 4 year would be around 5.5 to 6 lakh .

There are various fests and functions such as the freshers party and Dhoom which is the annual festival where various celebrities and starts come. The library is also well maintained and you will get all the books you need . There are all sorts of sports facilities present .there are various clubs such as culture,sports, skateboarding,music and many others.

There are 3/4 /5 and 8 seater rooms in the hostels with AC and non AC facilities. You will get a hostel kit a bed table chair and a almirah of yours . The hostel is not bad and so good also . So may give feedback if you don't like the food. The hostel registration is online ,you can pay your fees and will be allotted the hostel . Hostel fees is 1.33 lakh.

The admission process is very simple . You don't need to qualify any entrance exam you can get direct admission in this collage .But on the day of reporting the will have you travel from one office to another for document verification and all other things. The application fees is 500 fees and registration fees is 10000 rupees .

The faculty to student ratio is 40 :1 . The faculties are highly qualified and most of them are PhD. They know the requirement of the industry and teach according to that. Most of them are approachable and friendly.The HOD also takes the lectures so you can complain to here if you have a problem.
