Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

the course curriculum is not good in this college teachers mostly focus on theoritical part paractical are not much focused there is only few practical class in week. Students study by their own from different platforms there is no role of teachers in growth of student course curriculum is as bad as the teaching method even if cource curriculum is not followed by some teachers

Placement Experience

2

Placement is this collage is very bad only a few students get placed even at low package. very less companies come here for recruitment. students who do not have any REE are eligible for campus placement even students here are not that intelligent to crack the interview one Samsung and Flipkart came for recruitment non of them were able to quilify . known big companies like Samsung, flipkart have visited once but now no such big companies visit percentage of student getting placed is vere low around 40% most of them go for higher studies even my plan is to go for higher studies after getting the degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of gurujambeshwar university is quit low around 71000 per year for btech which includes registration fees, tution fees, development fees and others our collage also provides fees waiver who have low family income certificate and to ST and SC candidates as compared to general candidates st and sc or pwd candidates have to pay less fee gju also provides scholarship to candidates who come from jammu and kashmir and they get some fee waiver here in gurujambeshwar university, it is not easy to get hostel easily only hot 5 rankers from each branch get hostel fee structue of hostel is 12800 in which 4500 is refundable .

Campus Life

4

The only one think i like about this college is campus life , campus life in this collage is very good gju has very big campus of around 350+ acres it has big lush green campus with various soprts facilities like cricket ground , football ground, 2 kabbadi ground, 2 lawn tennis court, 2 basketball courts, 2 volleyball court, table tennis, 2 badminton court , descent gym which include almost every equipment. in campus there is shopping complex in which we can get any necessary items there are 4 tea stalls and 3 cafeterias there are verious extracurricular activities conducted in this college, various fests like sports fest, tech fest etc are conducted, there are various clubs like dance clubs, coding clubs etc which impact student campus life

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facility is quit good in this college but only few students get hostel only 5-6 students get hostel based on there rank in class and 2 seat is reserved for kashmari and st/sc students even other state student face difficulty in getting hostel hostal allotment process is very very bad here. there are only 4 hostels for boys in which 4 students are accomodated in one room . one room have 3 cupboard 3 study tanle and 3 chair but 4 student are alloted in single room . 4 bed has been provided hostel registration is done online but everyone have to submit the form offline in the office hostel is affordable only 12800 rupess for whole year in which 4500 is refundable

Admission

Eligibility of the course btech in gju is based on jee mains students get admission through there jee rank they have to take participate in hstes councelling in which 2 rounds of online councelling is conducted student get branch based on their rank and when they get branch they have to be physically present in college to get admission if any student does not get any branch in both rounds of councelling they can go in physical councelling in which vacant seat has been filled even at high rank as compared to online counselling. application form, application fees and application dates all are updated on Gju website there are also reservation benefits and if candiate is st and sc category he/she gets fee waiver after every month there is a minor exam of 20 marks mostly 2-3 minor are conducted before major and difficulty level is very high. only few students pass the exam improvement can be done in the admission process like other state candidates face difficulty.

Faculty

1.5

Very few facilities here are phd qualified most of them are either pursuing phd or below that faculty to student ratio is descent but most of the teachers does not have any experience to teach the way they teach is quit boring and outdated they just come in class read the book and go they does not even explain it properly only a few teachers are good but even they are not upto the mark my over all experiance is very bad in term of faculty

Here, the students of the final year are eligible for placements in there respective departments. Basicly many companies visit my college surroundings us which include Wipro, infosis, solatier etc. At least 50 companies visit my college. The highest placement was 22 lpa at Google ang average package is 10 lpa in solatire and other companies . almost 70 percent students get college placement rest apply for off campus and after sometime they also try to fetch jobs. I maily like corporate a lot , so after completing my degree i want to regain a job in any company in gurgaon.

Special aspects is it has coding and it is related to technology. It prepares us very good for industries and further academic pursuits. Suggested area of improvement is in c++ coding class they teach us only theory not coding. Exams happens in every 2 months.

Placement Experience:

Placements rate is obviously not 100% but we do get companies and out of 150 students only 110 actually sit in the placement cycle and out of these about 70 students do get placed in good companies. The companies that visit consist of mondelez, Adani wilmar, zomato hyper pure, haldiram, loykaa, jubilent, baker's dozen, Lt foods, etc. The highest package goes up to 15 lakhs and average package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum.

The placement cell brings in quite a few companies (both MNCs and startups) and the average package is about 5-6 lpa. The highest goes to about 13 LPA. Recruiters like Mondelez, AbinBev, ITC, and other top companies recruit during the placement cycle.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are done in the final year. In the 7th semester, students have to go for a semester-long industrial training. Some students are offered pre-placement offers, and some sit for the placement process. The highest packages have gone upto 8 LPA-10 LPA, in quality/supply chain/management related roles. More than 10-15 companies visit, and almost all of the students get placed. I personally would like to go for higher studies.
