Course Curriculum Overview

4

Collaboration with different companies like Microsoft itself is really a big deal for students like us who can't afford expensive universities. The preparation is done on a serious basis and they prepare you throughout the semester for your examinations. The mid-term exam helps you evaluate yourself and your progress while the end-term examination lets you achieve your goals. The exams are not difficult if you prepare properly and focus on your teacher's teaching and is a fun challenge for us students to show off our hard work.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

I am not very knowledgeable about the intership process as I am still in the second year of my course but what I have heard from my senior, the university takes full responsibility for your preparation and guidance and helps you by providing you with an internship. Companies like Microsoft can be your key only if you are dedicated and hardworking and your dream will come true.

Placement Experience

3.5

The students start getting placement during their 8th semester while they are being prepared by the university for the placement drive. Companies like Eicher, Royal Enfield etc are in partnership with the university itself. The highest package was 28LPA and the average package is around 6-7LPA.My plans after getting the degree is to pursue higher studies while having a job at side to support myself though the process.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure depends heavily on the percentage of students in 12th standard and can get scholarships based on it. The course fee per semester which is for 6 months is 65000 but I pay 58500 as per the scholarship received on my 12th percentile. The registration Fee is 1000 and that's the only thing. Other than that the fee for upcoming students might be different from previous students as the fees are being increased. As for the category you can avail many scholarship benefits if you belong to SC or ST, etc.

Campus Life

4.5

Many annual and technical fests are carried out out of which the most famous is Techno Virsa which is usually carried out after April of every year.Other fests are organised as well. The library offers a variety of books that usually depends on your need and is opened 24/7 so you can study anytime you want. Each classroom is equipped with a projector and the labs are present on almost every floor. Many students social groups are available which the students can participate in and can help in organising many events by the said groups.

Hostel Facilities

4

The rooms are provided with Fans, 2 power points, water heater and you can apply for AC rooms as well. The rooms also consit of three tables as well as chairs and four lockers for your stuff. The meal quality of the hostel is actually better and are really good with provided deserts and salads. The hostel is affordable to some standards and is pretty great if you want to enjoy the full fledged life on a hosteler.

Admission

The course is eligible for everyone who wants to pursue it and due to the university's course fees, it's easy for people to pursue their dreams. The application forms can be found online on the website or can be taken from the admission center in the university. The exams are carried out between the semester which is known as mid-term and after the semester which are known as the End semester which as the name suggests are carried out at the end of the 5th month of the semester. The admission process can be improved by adding an online admission process as well to ease people from far away places.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty here is really friendly and cooperative and will act more like your friends. They make sure that if you are present in the classroom, you will enjoy it as the class becomes very fun to study and enjoy in.The faculty here is quite qualified as there are staff from universities like CU and most of the staff is qualified at a high level. The teacher are like friends and are really easy to approach and interact with which makes it really pleasant.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
