Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very well designed. Having completed my internship recently, I understood the relevance of the courses taught in the very first year of college. It makes sure to strengthen the basics and foundation of the students from the very beginning. The external exams are conducted at the end of each semester. We have internal theoretical exams according to credits allotted to the course and they are marked every practical. The marks are then called down and graded to calculate the final CGPA.
Internships Opportunities
There is a 6 weeks internship at the end of the first year and a 6 month full semester internship in the second half of the 2nd year. There are many properties both from India and abroad which are in good terms with the college and the college gives full support throughout the internship from start till end.
Fees and Financial Aid
SSCA requires their students to pay the yearly fees of nearly 4,00,000. The fees is to be paid semester wise, that is, every six months. Which means the fees for each semester is 2,00,000 rupees. As Symbiosis is a private, deemed university, it has its own rules for scholarships which varies from year to year. For my batch, there are no students who have applied for/received a scholarship.
Campus Life
There are cultural events that are held and the social and campus life is great. The campus is extremely beautiful with a lots of facilities wih public cycles to go around the campus. There are clubs and commities for all sorts of things.
Hostel Facilities
The accommodation is good. Although there is no AC, the weather is very good and AC is not needed until extreme summers. The mess food could be better. There are plently of flats and PGs nearby in sus gaon as well.

The practicals are conducted in batches so that the faculty can give time to evey student. We also have mentor mentee sessions each semester and are allowed to approach any of the faculty or admin staff members with our problems at any time.

There was a writing ability test in which you need to write an SOP. There is an MCQ for general knowledge and vulinary related questions and lastly there is a PI with the faculty members. There is not much to be prepared as along as you have interest in the course and have the basic knowledge regarding it.
