For getting admitted at Aligarh Muslim University in Masters course, I qualified AMU Masters entrance test and scored 128 out of 200. i came to be 2nd topper. This university has a huge prestige and about a century of Excellence

Course Curriculum Overview

Well it depends on the personal interest of the student. As far as course structure is concerned,it is well focused on research and gives us a best opportunity to continue in the field of research. Infact AMU is ranked as India's 2nd best University in the field of research.

Placement Experience

Very rare and limited to engineering students and that too very few companies seem to be interested like wipro,hcl, godrej etc. This lag in the placement process is soon going to be solved because steps are being taken to increase the no. of companies coming for the campus placement.

College Events

We have quite some events that are celebrated at the university. The major one and the most important one is Sir syed Day that is celebrated on 17 october every year as the birth anniversary the founder of our university Sir Syed Ahmad Khan.

Faculty here at AMU is superb to learn from and are highly qualified. They are highly honest towards their profession. The minimum qualification required to get selected here at AMU as a faculty member is P.hd with NET/JRF.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yes tha curriculum are well structured and good for every exams because I have to go to civil field that's why I chose due to there interdisciplinary studies and connection to every exams and filed The curriculum is good and prepare for rural society and also provide further research opportunities for future in the rural technology and society The curriculum needs to be for technical and entrepreneurship based There is 3 hour exam for semester and the level of questions paper in exam is moderate to hard .

This is a postgraduate course so I took admitted to this course because I want to become a lecturer (Professor). So after doing this I want to pursue a doctorate degree. Teacher student ratio in this course is 1:60 In this college, there are both permanent faculty and guest faculty. Permanent faculty has better teaching skills than the guest faculty because the majority of them are students who pursue doctorate degrees under the guidance of this college's Professors. They generally lack experience. The teaching method is excellent for permanent faculty. Exams are held timely. One is held in the month of December and the other in May. There are four semesters in this course. The paper level is difficult. One needs a descriptive knowledge of the subject to score good marks in examinations. Previous year papers can provide a lot of help.

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

I chose this college mainly because of the less fees structure and the greenary campus , a good place to study.Moreover, I'm preparing for govt exams also, so the time needed during M.tech. is enough to focus on exams too. Also, I don't want any gap between the study and job as we have to justify later during interview (the year gaps , if any).
