The faculty at AMU is well-qualified, with most holding a Ph.D. and meeting requirements like NET/JRF. Despite some concerns about bias in student scoring, the faculty-to-student ratio is fair, and teachers actively work to resolve student issues. Departments like Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, MBA, Commerce, and English Literature are noted for quality, while Life Sciences, Geography, and Engineering boast excellent infrastructure. However, the Faculty of Arts suffers from poor management. Placement opportunities are mainly for engineering students, with companies like Wipro, HCL, and Godrej recruiting.

Final-year students can participate in placements facilitated by a dedicated cell, with most securing jobs in reputable companies and an average salary package of 3 lakh INR per annum.
