Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

They teach really good strategies and good knowledge about cracking in college life and even in real life. We're never bounded only to the bookish knowledge even though we explore a really different world other than that it's prepares us for many government jobs and give us tips on cracking exams like IIT JAM,GATE etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I'm studying in a government college the fees is really much affordable for all the students out there. The year wise fees varies for all the majors separately for self financing courses it's bit high as per the regular courses.Mine is mathematics majors so my fees is bit reasonable like 1.5lacs per annum which is pretty affordable. The college is same for all the caste categories. The thing that varies is the hostel and mess fees. For general people the fees is bit high like 70-80k per annum for the hostel and for other castes it's like roughly 50k per annum. The scholarships we got are NUA O scholarship by the Odisha government,Kalia scholarship and many more. Scholarship funds are like 15k barely which is pretty good. Hostel admission fees ranges from 12-16k per annum and the mess fees ranges from 3-4k per month. General people have a little high hostel fees than other category.

Campus Life

2.5

There's always something events programmes occassions happening in our college. There is so many awaring programmes and some extracurricular activities like sports dance singing poster making drawing many more.

Hostel Facilities

4

The room is quite big and in each room you stay 4 people including you. The meal quality is pretty good you get meals for 3 times per day and the meals per day cost like 75-100 rs if you're not interested in eating that day you can even do meal off. At the time of admission you can apply for registration process for the hostel. The locality is pretty good you can get street foods, fruits, grocery, hospitals.

Admission

Like this college cut off goes really high the general obc cut offs go like 90+% and the sc ones goes like 80-85% and the st one is 75-80% in the first phase. This college can be applied by the sams odisha website. There are many government colleges to apply and even sams odisha provides all the details for the admission and all. The form filling up fees for GENERAL AND OBC are 275rs and for the Sc and St it is like 150-200rs

Faculty

3

In mathematics department the faculties are so nice and friendly and even encouraging. They are literally like a family they treat us like their own children and care for us. Interaction with our teachers is so nice.

Other Applied Colleges

Ravenshaw University - [RU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] + Bachelor of Education [B.Ed]

It was a nice college as per my perfence but the surrounding isn't much welcoming for students who like to study it's more likely an entertainment environment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've chosen this course because i love Zoology. The curriculum is strict and it also focus in the discipline of the students. The only problem is the class our overlaps with sports hour so if you want to practice your game you've to miss the last 2 classes. They all teach so professionally . Examination here are conducted so neatly and the time period is also okay.

Course Curriculum Overview:

those course curricullams at central university of odisha is thought fully designed ,offering a balanced blend of theoretical depth and practical relevance. on eof the key reason why students opt for such courses like int mathmatiss is the seamless academic progression and strong foundation it provides for research and comprdative exams. that curricullum could be more better as it can be more practical. what we are studing is like 80% theory and just 20% practical. so i do think that could be more better. the quality needs to be improved.

The curriculum is according to CBSH syllabus,New Delhi. The syllabus can include more practicals. And also the availability of instruments should be there to do practicals individually. The exams are normal ...but the time given can change sometimes due to external factors that might shift the exam dates.
