Remarks

No bad remarks, I think they are doing a wonderful job & just continue to do that for as long as they can.

Entrance Preview

Sslc. Chose NHS because the fees was very low & for the marks I scored I was not going to get entry any where else in Blr. Place was also very close to my house.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It was wonderful. Lecturers were awesome & spent a lot of time with people who were not good at studies. Facilities were too good especially the lab facilities for science students was too good & accessible whenever required. My friends were good at studies but I was not doing that great.

Placement Experience

1

I passed in 1998 we didn't have this placement concept then, this is all recent developments. Those days we used to get jobs basis recommendation of a family friend or a politician. I got a job because my area corp-orator gave a recommendation letter & I got job.

College Events

3

Prayers at the start of the day. We used to do Ganesha festival in grand style. Collage annual day used to happen & I didn't participate as i was not good at dancing or singing. We used to have annual sports day & since the college ground was big many political parties used to do election campaign in our ground.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's like free. I paid 1500 for 1st puc & 2000 for 2nd puc. Tuition's outside was very expensive but our facilities were so good they never made us feel the need of any studies outside college. The fees are a little higher for degree classes but I was not that good to progress further (if u know what I mean).

Fees and Financial Aid

No. Only library was good & mostly empty as many students were in the ground or parking lot or canteen. Scholarship was there for reservation candidates & I don't know much about it as I did not qualify.

Campus Life

5

Gender ratio is good 70-30 or a little more. Religion I have not much info but there were not many Muslims in the college. Most of the kids came from rich families except me & a few others to spare. I don't know about party I never partied those days as there was huge cash deficit. Now I party.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel was available but was dirty. I never used as my house was in Bangalore but my friends were always heard of complaining about the hostel food & dirty common bathrooms & toilets. Also collage kids used to smoke & drink in their rooms & there was no regulation over these things.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no network as such from the college but they is a Facebook page run by some old students people on that page are very seniors to me.

Exam Structure

Exam is easy. 1 mid term & 1 final. Attendance is 75% to get hall ticket & with lot of difficulties managed to keep up to that number. Attending mid term is not mandatory but final is very important & some faculties allow copying & some don't. Students have to be very careful if they want to copy.

Faculty

3.5

Faculties were wonderful, they were the best of all. They used to spend additional time with us in case we needed & at times nd the classes early when we had festivals or during weekends. Once I was caught eating Banana during class & the faculty was so kind that he offered to share his own lunch box if I was that hungry.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.
