Course Curriculum Overview

The frequency of exams here is very good and not that many tough exams the teachers teach in class that surely come into the exams teachers are so cooperation and are very helpful they are strict in some cases while checking the answers.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees are 45000 in the summer semester and 35000 in the winter sem. I'm the semester fees mess and tution fees are included. We are getting the mhrd jrf scholarships so we are getting 37k per month in hand

Campus Life

All classes are fully equipped with ACS the classrooms are nice very spacious and projected is there in every classroom there are so many student clubs are three like drama club and cinema club etc and several dance clubs.

Admission

Areas of improvement is research labs and also the research culture please increase more faculties in research and also more research atmosphere and more research project 's so that student will be more beneficial

I often meet with my faculty and discuss with him my research problems research is superb here research labs here are so good so Good campus so nice gym so nice ambience I like my college so so much. So please go to iit ism and join the clubs there, clubs are also so amazing there

BIT Mesra- Is institute good for research?

Placement Experience:

6th sem you are eligible for campus placement and interview mostly all the students are placed in the government sector and private sector due to high demand and low students ratio. The higher package is 9-14 lakh per annum in 2017 data. My plan after geeting degree to do jobs in research sector

Perfect for PhD

Admission:

The students have to go go through a cutoff as the the admission is merit based. Students who are good in academic and have scored well in their Masters program are qualified for applying. When I applied I found that the admission was not as easy as I thought. You need to have really good marks to get in.

Positive remarks are good Environment, The campus is large in area, Seniors are helpful and nice, No ragging in campus. Negative remarks are Located outside the city Ranchi, Transportation is not feasible.

Must Read before coming to IIT ISM Dhanbad

I had secured AIR 5860 in JEE Advanced, so i had applied for all CSE, ECE, ELECTRICAL, MNC and related branches in Top IITs. For my rank, I got IIT ISM Dhanbad in the last round. I had also got IIT Kharagpur Manufacturing Science, but I choosed to go for furture rounds as i thought doing a circuit branch in IITs is better. I could not make it to colleges that i wanted to as my rank was 5860 and belonging to the GENERAL category, the rank is too high to get into top branches of the top 7 IITS. The admission process is JEE Advanced, Elgibility is that u need to have good rank in JEE Advanced, the rank required varies from branch to branch but i can give you and idea, for our IIT ISM, CSE -> 2000 to 3500, MNC -> 3500 to 4500 , ECE -> 4500 to 6000 and so on....Read More
