Course Curriculum Overview
Postings in the ward start from 2nd year only in different departments it depends on the student how much he /she wants to take out of it. Class timings are usually from 8 am to 4 pm in which 9-12 is for postings and 12-1 is for lunch. The syllabus are good, and exams are easy.
Internships Opportunities
During internships, they are posted in different departments for different time periods. The stipend they got paid 10000 per month which is not bad as far as other private colleges compared. Only 15 days leave is allowed in a year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
Tuition fees is fixed but they ask you to 50 thousand for AC instead of 25 thousand. Otherwise, no such extra charge is asked. There is no such scholarship here I guess. Many students join here only as JR after mbbs and prepare for PG side by side at a stipend of 40k.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the college is very good including classrooms and hostels but there is no good canteen or food parlor area. There is an annual fest named INSOMNIA that occurs every year. And no such student-run groups or parlour here.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are one of the best here including spacious rooms and, double occupancy in-room washrooms. Mess is average. They charge 2lakhs for rooms hostel + mess. Private accomodation is not allowed .
Admission
Admission is through NEET, cut-off at that time was around 390 but now it has quite increased around 450-460 I guess. You can go to updgme and up counseling and apply for this college then all the process.
Faculty
I don't specifically no the data of faculty to student ratio but there is quite enough faculty in most of the department. Many of the faculties and hod are from renowned colleges. Classrooms are spacious and teachers usually teach with slides on board and Mike. Students can interact with teachers during class or after class too. Each mentor is assigned to every 10 students after admission. so students can reach out to them if they face any problems in college.
