The things that i like about yenepoya. To be honest there is only few things. One thing i would say is the campus.

Dislikes

Things disliked i would say the quality of education is poor. There is no expertized faculty. All are phd scholars who doesn't even know what to do.
Education is soo poor and fees soo much. These are some of the dislikes many more us there
And another one is that there is no placement offered for the students interships also.

Curriculum isn't preparing us they simply added some unwanted things in our syllabus. The practical sessions also dummy to dummy. There is no site visit. Scene vision nothing from the college side. The worst ever course and college. Highest regret of my life. And i wont recommend this anyone else

We have 6 sem and 2 sem honours 1st sem tution fee - 90000 2-6th sem - 65000 Exam fees will vary depending upon the number if subjects that we have in that particular semester. There is no intership. Scholarship, campus interview nothing

Campus Life

Every year there will be annual programs in march i guess. There are soo many variety of books. For the education purpose. Story books as well everything you need will be there Facilities of the classrooms are good. Ac is there smart tv is there then 3 fans will be provided and classrooms are good Extracurricular activities like sports, dance everything is there. There are so many clubs for us. Admission

Eligibility PUC in bio science background You can find it from the college website or directly call and enquire as well No reservations and all Admission areas take admission priorly and they would inform you 2 or 3 days before opening so be prepared

Faculty

Some faculty are good and they know what to teach. And some are like students only they also seeing that particular subject for the first time and they have prepare the notes and simply spoon feeding us what they have seen in the google not more than that . Everything just copy and paste from google and teach. We students didn't even understand anything if we ask them also they also dint know about. Because they're from different background

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i choose is bsc because of the different subjects in this course it has electronics and computer science . The curriculum prepares me by special courses and the new ways of teaching. The methods of teaching is good but we need new ways like learning with games. The timing of exam is 3 hours for eights marks, and the difficulty is the benches are not comfortable

Peaceful College And Campus Life

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students get eligible for campus placement, No of companies such as Cipla, infosys,accenture, TCS, wipro, Icici bank have visited our college, provide placements and 90% students get placed in reputed companies. My plan after finishing my Bsc ,i will opting for MSc Biotechnology, then a PhD.I will become a professor.

Would never recommend this college for the students who want to take a Tech Job

Course Curriculum Overview:

Now the syllabus has changed. New emerging technologies trends and subjects are introduced in new curriculum. Data science, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security are now taught. Practical marks are reduced to 50 marks. Term end examinations are conducted twice in a year. Exams are not that difficult. Usually previous year questions appear in the exams.

My journey in Christ University

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
