Remarks

College management is doing good for campus infrastructure and overall development. Various programs like Robocon and racing car event are also supported financially well.

Entrance Preview

I had given MHT CET 2013 and I scored 103 in that exam out of 200. As per DTE rounds I got admitted to this college.i had heard about this college from my relatives.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had elected electronic and telecommunications course. The syllabus was set by Savitribai Phule pune University . As compared to all other universities in nation this is one of the best University. a curriculum was developed such a student can easily get knowledge of all the industrial and practical exposure.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. Every faculty had a compulsion to visit a Industry in a month and to built a good relationship in industry so that our students can do internship there. Many of the students do internship in persistent,zensar. After successful completion of internship all students got placed in that company.

Placement Experience

Upto last year numbers we can say that if u are admitted in computer or information technology course then the placement will be 100% and you will get minimum 3 lakh per annum package and no maximum limit.it depend on your talent. For Electronic, Electrical and Mechanical one of major company is Volkswagen. Persistent offer 4.25 lpa zenasar offers 3.25 lpa Volkswagen offer 3.36 lpa Xoriant offer 4.5 lpa Amazon offer 2.8 lpa. KPiT, Tech Mahindra, Tata Technologies, TCS For IT more placement than any other department.

College Events

Technical events conducted in college are Robocon,Roborace,Robowar, Vehicle making competition like BAJA, SUPRA ,GOKart. In cultural events fashion show, plays, Mr and Miss MMCOE,GATHERING, Ganapati festival,Dandiya night in Navratri.college participate in every national level competition at technical as well as cultural level.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure as compared to other colleges it is affordable very much in Pune city. for open category the fees for the course is 72000 per year which includes turion fee plus exam fee. You can pay the fees in installments that feasibility is provided by college administration

Fees and Financial Aid

Alumni club organise various scholarship program for needy students. All the Govt scholarship are applied to the students studying here. Many scholarships are organised by management for the students who had worked brilliant in various departments.

Campus Life

College campus is spread around 4 and half acre.small but sweet campus located in middle of Pune city. Campus is accessible to any part of Pune easily.Campus infrastructure is very good. Two buildings are there for academic complex. One building is 6 storyed and another one is now 6th storyed but construction is going on upto 13 storyed. Many technical activities like Robocon, BAJA, GoCart, SUPRA, EffiCycle, Eyantra are going on the campus which are actively supported by college. Similarly in culture events like Purushottam karandak firodya karandak College is taking active participation.

Hostel Facilities

I live in hostel for three years. You will not get good hostel facility that this hostel. Every day cleaning of rooms toilets and bathroom. Food quality is also good. They provide nutritious food daily. They provide morning breakfast,lunch,evening snacks and dinner. Hostel rooms are also spacious with good sun light .

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is strong in college. twice in a year all the alumni meet in college. Alumni club arrange various scholarship for needy students in the college. Arrange various industrial programs which are beneficial for students in college.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is same as Savitribai Phule Pune University. For first and second year u have two online exams of total 50 marks in each semester and 50 marks written final exam for each subject plus u have 2 lab and 1 oral in each semester. While in third year and final year. U have and insem exam in middle of semester of 30 marks and written 70 marks exam at last of semester with 3 lab subjects.

Admission

According to DTE admission procedure I got the seat in second round and got admitted in college. Total admission procedure was so smooth. The administration had taken good care of it. No waiting queues for the admission procedure. You can easily do it in a one day.

Faculty

In MMCOE all the facilities can be easily accessible through college email ids. All the contacts of faculties is shared to students in case of emergency. Every student has one teacher guardian who took care of that child and help him to solve any personal or college related problem.

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Likes

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Not that much strict environment than many of the college.

Dislikes

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

I loved the library and canteen of the college
College community is quite good no ragging is done
Faculties are strict but at the same time they are supportive as well

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

Placement Experience:

After 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, wipro, accenture are the top companies visited here and the highest package offered was 30lpa. As of now the placement percentage is 80% and rest go for off campus. And even I'll try to go for Off campus

Likes

The professors at the college were always available for any doubt clearances or any other help
College also offered courses free of cost of latest technologies
The college supported students in taking part in any paper conference or hackathon

Dislikes

Conduction of technical events was comparatively less
The was alumni connection was not available through college
The infrastructure could be improved more

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the fourth year. There are good number of placement opportunities available through college but the placement package is less compared to other colleges. The placement cordinator is helpful.

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Dkte is best for practical knowledge because of its pilot plants which are having machineries with good working conditions
Highly skilled faculties with excellent experience of industrial as well as teaching sector
There are many facilities like idea lab and other testing labs are available which helps students in there project related and research related work

Dislikes

College timing is more as compared to other Colleges
Extra curricular activities and annual events are not upto the marks as compared to other colleges
Canteen facilities for breakfast, lunch, dinner are not that good

Placement Experience:

Students are getting eligible in 6 semester for campus placement Companies like Trident , Arvind Ltd, epic group ,uniclo, vardhaman textile ,dyester ,Aditya Birla knits, Aditya Birla fashion retail, reliance, OCM ,donear etc are visiting and offering jobs ranging from 3.5 lakhs to 18 lakhs per annum Highest salary job is given by companies like Trident and epic group the salary is ranging between 18 -19 lakhs 100 % of students are getting placed every year

First I apply in zeal college of narhe and I goated electronic and telecommunications engineering branch but in second cap round i alloted in marathwada mitra mandal college of engineering karvenager for mechanical engineering. In this college mechanical branch is best and this college is in top 120 position for mechanical engineering in Pune. I rejected first alloted College for this college. Zeal college faculty and teaching method is very bad that whay i reject this college. Very simple admission process of our college. Faculty heelp to student to fill the form on or other information in admission process. The size of all the branch class is 60. My words about MMCOE

As I mention before I also applied for mitwpu for mechanical engineering department but the main reason behind choosing the mmcoe college is the fees required at MIT is pretty higher compared to mmcoe and as I consulted with my teachers I got to know that the mmcoe delivers better knowledge with minimal amount of fees. Information about MMCOE

As I mentioned I also applied for ENTC branch at S B Patil College at Indapur. But I did not get the admission there here are few reasons of it. 1.The faculties at sb patil are not as capable as of MMCOE. 2. The campus placement offerings are not as much of the MMCOE. 3.The campus facilities like clubs student council are not available at sb patil. The admission process includes the cap round and CET score is considered for cutoff consideration. Also jee score can be considered for the admission.
