Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is too good, but the structuring of the course is not done properly. The subjects were too good, but the syllabus inside is like half half parts, but yes if the syllabus was too good to learn & implement, but yes college needs a proper faculty to implement the course curriculum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure was too high, but the facilities given by college is too low based on the fees structure, the college needs to enhance the facilities for a particular course. In the initial there was no availability of scholarships, even if we apply for scholarships, it used to get selected for only some candidates. Regarding the campus, only 5 got selected for internships, but placement expectation is 0%.

Campus Life

3

The overall experience with campus life is good, focusing on social aspects there was lot of involvement from alumni & student forum, but the infrastructure lacks behind the student expectations. But overall experience is good.

Admission

The admission process was easy, as my experience, the course was newly opened, so there's were no cut-off, but the student should be from science background or if commerce then should be from statistics & computer science background. The application process went very smoother.

Faculty

3

The faculty in the initial days were very good as the teaching professionals were from company, the teaching was good in the initial days of semesters when compared to last semesters.

The curriculum isnt only theoritical but also has lot of practical insights which helps us gain onfield experience and knowlegde. The course could have been made a little less hectic for the students and a bit of breaks could have been added in between them. The exams are really packed and we get a lot of assignments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum includes syllabus in regard to that of National Education Policy scheme where in we have 2 core subjects. I chose biotechnology and genetics since it something I really look forward to pursue as my career in the field. We had one subject as open elective which enhanced our curriculum since we could choose from various course every semester. The university exams however were conducted for 60marks as theory and 2.5 hours for the same which can be extended to 3 hours

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements right after completing their B.Math(Hons) degree, i.e after their 6th semester. Companies like Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn, Wipro, and other Multinational Companies visit and every student gets an offer from one company or the other. The package ranges from 10LPA to 25LPA. Those students who opt for placement after their B.Math(Hons) course is over, all get a placement offer while most of the students prefer to continue their Master's Degree. I too would like to complete my Master's Degree after my bachelor and think about further options thereafter.
