Course Curriculum Overview

In sardar Patel I choose bachelor of commerce in computer application and I love the field. In each semister I had 2 accounts subjects and 4 computer based subject. Teachers regulary takes exam and question answering

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about scholarship because I never get that but in first year my fees was something around 12-14k Which I can pay in two installments 1sem 7k and 7k in second semester. At my time my principal helped me by financial problems

Campus Life

You can celebrate ganpati and same time you can also celebrate college gathering which is after 1st half. There are many books in library. You just have one card to take book at home and then submit once done Sport activities are also taken like kabaddi, cricket and many.

Admission

You must have your 12th diploma certificate. You must have passed from science stream to apply in BCCA . You can find application or form in college. Now it may be online also. Take a form fill your details attached required documents and submit it. After selection you will be called and that's your Admission is done

Faculty

I just loved my 3 years because my teachers were good and teaching techniques was brilliant. If you want to get practical knowledge then you can join this college. I think it is one of the best colleges in chandrapur

Semesters are based on courses that students choose. Student after clearing semister 5 are eligible for placement. Many famous company like textile , Mahindera Etc There is an exam which is conducted by college those students who clear that exam and interview which is conducted by placement officers. Placement Experience:

From the end 2nd semester, students start getting placed. All the big 4s companies come to campus for placements.The highest package in 2020- 21 for UG was 5.5 LPA and the average package was 4 .1 LPA. The companies that visited the campus wereÃ‚Â Deloitte USI, Deutsche Bank, Northern Trust, Tresvista, Credit Suisse, Ernst and Young GDS, Teach for India, EY India, ElasticRun, Xqtiv Healthcare and GOMO GroupÃ‚Â offering positions varying from audit assistant, tax analyst, assurance and financial associate, HR analyst etc. The placement cell recorded a total of 64 students till date getting placed during 2020-21. Since I am doing the Acca degree, after completion, I plan to take 3 years of work experience to become a full Acca member. After taking full acca membership, I plan to do an MBA.

Smt. Mmk college of commerce and economics is an A graded college by NAAC. It has amazing faculty members teaching a subject they are an expert in. The bachelors of commerce degree is a basic graduation degree that I am pursuing and usually people opt for this while they are pursuing another professional course such as CA or CS or just haven't quite figured out what to do yet. At smt.mmk college of commerce and economics the placements that we are presented with after the completion of the degree are in association with some of the best companies in the country including aditya birla,etc. I personally opted for this course because I had no clue what I want to pursue, but here at mmk they guide you throughout your career decisions and also have various seminars based on career development,etc. Currently I am also pursuing an ACCA degree ( Association of chartered certified accountant). This was only possible with the guidance of the faculty members available at smt. Mml college of commerce and economics. Another reason as to why I opted for this college would be that it has a less need for attendance which is in most colleges around 75% but mmk grants you an attendance of only 50% which helps most of us manage two courses together or even do an internship along with the degree.

I was a student of KJ Somaiya College of Arts & Commerce. College is autonomus now and the exams paper are set by college & not university. Faculty is good. Campus is excellent. Once you leave the college, you will miss everything from lectures, 4 ways, maggi house, management canteen, IV etc. Management students do have placements in good companies. (BMS, BBI, BFM, BAF) So, in short it is a good college with decent students & faculty.

It is a well known institution. The college provides good opportunities to work with the big four. Teachers here are highly knowledgeable, and the teaching quality was also awesome. Teachers here are very helpful and always ready to help students. I want to do CA that's why I have opted for B.com.

The best college for commerce in South Mumbai

Remarks:

It is a government college so the staff can be a little lethargic. But there are a few good people too. You have to find them of course, but they are there. The office is like any other government office, but they are efficient, know their work and the work gets done. Thankfully, you only ever have to queue up once or twice a year for fees and the like, but otherwise the college functions like clock work. I had no trouble with anybody whatsoever. In face, I have eaten with one of the staff members in his home alongside (just behind the college.) Just goes to show, if you are friendly enough, they can be friendly too.

My best college experience

I haven't applied for other colleges because my parents don't want to let me go very far so this college is the best college im gondwana university and the college is near my home . No I have scored 81 percentile in cet so there is not much change for rejection and not many colleges offer bca course in vidharbha . The admission process is very lengthy for me by my experience firstly submit all documents and cet score card then wait for the cap round and get selected in that after that submit the remaining documents and pay half fees and fill form for registration in gondwana and then wait for the college to start . Eligibility for this cource (BCCA) is very simple we have to just pass the 12th exams from any branch then we are avail to take admission in BCCA.
