Course Curriculum Overview

I like to do coding. So that is why i choose b.tech cse . Course curriculum and teaching methods are good it need a little bil improvement . the timing of exams is alright . it is not that much difficult.

The placements of college is okay . 40 to 50 percentage students got placements after the course . The highest placement is about 1 crore per annual . average placements is about 5 laks per annul . i want to get degree for placement in good companies

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is same all along the course. The complete cost of my whole cource is about 3,00000. the college fee for sc student is free because of their scholarships. but for general and bc cast student have to give fee according to their percentage in 12th

There is always anual function in which campus call punjabi celebrities by student voting. there are so many technical festival 3-4 times per annual . yes, there is so many sports activity in campus there is also gym for hostel students

There is no entrance exams in baba farid group of institutions. Anyone can get admission according to their percentage in 12th class. admission process is good but paying the fees is hard because there is so much croud at counter

Faculty

Faculity to student ration is fine. Teachers are very good. I interact many times in a day with them. Ghere are diffrents head teacher for diffrent courses like for cse there is head teacher of computer science.

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.
