Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is up to date, we have 70+ clubs in college and they organise regular hackathons and technical and non technical events on regular trends. I think one area where they could improve is the attendance system, like BITS and VIT. The exams are held twice a semester. One is mid sem and then the End sem. The exams are not very difficult and syllabus can be covered pretty quick
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't noticed any hike in the fee structure. My annual fee comes to 373000 and I think it's pretty decent for a private institution like this. Also, the ROI feels pretty good. It depends on the student to make the best out of it. Hostel fee is around 2.5L per annum So the fee for 4 years including the hostel is around 26 lakhs. Lots of internship & research opportunities provided to students. I am the technical head of 2 clubs at college and I am actually impressed at how active the clubs are.. it's so much fun. Most of these are voluntary and no stipends provided yet
Campus Life
The college recently organised the oneiros, annual fest of manipal University Jaipur. Held one a year it was great with lots of celebrities attending it. The library is one of the best parts of manipal. Lots of books and PhD study materials with individual compartments for each student. Sports culture is very good too. There are 70+ clubs to choose from and most of them are active most of the time . I'm a technical head of 2 of them and I really enjoy all the activities.
Admission
The admission process was pretty smooth. I had written the MET entrance exam and got a decent rank. Applied for the manipal counselling. I did not avail any reservation benefit. The exam was pretty smooth. The centres were easy to reach. I liked the maintenance of the exam centre. It was well planned unlike the VITEEE test.
Faculty
There were 80 students in the class. And the class was decent sized, so it was comfortable for all of us. Teachers were very friendly. What I really liked about the teachers was that they were always excited about questions from students. Our teachers were highly qualified. We had BITSians, NITians as teachers. The interaction with teachers was pretty common. Thanks to the college culture.
