All about Pantnagar (birthplace of green revolution)

I'm my course there are 5 different departments of my college which are resource management and consumer sciences, food science and nutrition, textile, extension, human development, and family management. Some other courses are also provided other than these such as biochemistry, environmental science, mathematics, English, microbiology, communication, etc. The availability of such vast subjects allowed me to choose this college. The teaching method is almost near to perfect and does not require any changes but the availability of doubt sessions can make it perfect. There are two hourly exams 20 marks each for a duration of 1 hour and the external exams at the end of the semester of 50 marks with a time duration of 2 hours and 10 marks based on project and class presence.

There has been no hike in tution fees for the last two years. There is a fee coat around 1.04 lakh per year which tution fee, hostel fee, food bill, wifi, health insurance, and electricity bill, all are included. There are many scholarships for students in our college especially which belongs to the SC or ST caste or have an EWS certificate. There is a good placement rate due to the various companies of different fields and NGOs want to hire these fabulous students.

There are no. of fests or events organized by colleges in our university some of the main events are colossum which is helds every year in our university it is organised by the College of Technology Pantnagar, this year it is organized on the month of May. Some other fests and events are also organized such as " Footprints" it is a business festival organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell Pantnagar held in month of May. The other important event is "Rangmanch" which is organized by the University dramatics team Pantnagar. There is also an NGO that is Delhi-based and works for the betterment of poor families around Pantnagar which organizes a fair named "Utkarsh Fair". There is availability of smart boards and projectors in all the classrooms and also a center computing facility which is open to all the students of the university.

The student should be 12th passed and have an age below 25. You can find application fees on the official site of gbpuat.ac.in and the fees are done on the ifms portal of the university. There are reservations for SC, ST, and EWS, and some seats are fixed for other state students too. The entrance exam of the university is duration of 3 hours long and has questions about mental ability, biology or maths, chemistry, and physics. The admission process of the university takes place in the offline mode in different rounds which should be changed to online mode for the comfort of the students and the document verification takes so much time which should be reduced.

Our class is divided into sections for proper interaction with the teacher and each section contains 25-30 students which makes it easier to interact with the professor and smooth working of lab classes due to small batch. In all the colleges of our university, there is an advisor provided to every student who is also a professor from a particular department of our college. And they give their best to solve our problems and analyze our performance each month through a meeting on every 2nd Saturday of the month. They help us to solve our problems related to the hostel. They are in regular touch with us and in case if needed they also talk to our parents if needed. All faculties of our college are well qualified and experienced in their departments.
