Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have choosen this course because I know that it has a pure plant-based and natural atmosphere that can the diseases that attract me the most. As it's a medical college hence extra curriculum is not much but the hospitality and work related to it are itself more interesting and skillful that we just needed that to make our growth in terms of medicine and its practical aspects. As it's a government College and hospital it needs to improve in terms of better hostels for girls as hostels are available but it's not in good condition for girls. But the best part is our Shree PM Modi had recently added the Building of WHO connected with rresearchin Ayurveda after the COVID. Timings of the exams are just the annual which is taken by the University and that is only considerable otherwise teaching staff are free to take their internal exams for the best preparation.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Our college provides an intership of one year in 6 months in the college hospital duties and posting and another 6 months posting in neaby PHC centers for medical duty. Projects and research are held during the ongoing internship To fill the workbook that includes the total number of duties we have done in different departments like prasuti and Stree Roga, Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Panchkarma, and other rest of PHC centers. Their outcomes are beneficial for us in that after all these doings we get a medical degree certificate from which we can open our hospital.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no tuition fees because our college class hours are enough to teach us all the important aspects of the syllabus and other practical aspects. College fees structure is different for boys and girls boys have to pay 4000 per year and girls have to pay about 1200 per year due to a fully Government based medical college. Hostel fees are for those who are staying in the hostel. The scholarship is available for students whose yearly father's income is less than one lac. Other scholarships for the category students are available. After the 4 years of college, intership are going to start which includes getting a stipend for the college students it's about one year of intership.

Campus Life

4

In terms of festivals and co-curriculum, all the Hindu festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Janmashtami, Navaratri, etc are celebrated by the students and facilities all together with our funding Also, we celebrate our college Ayurvedic Herbs and Drug Day, and Dhanvantari Day celebration on the Dhanteras. Different yagnas and Pooja are held according to our different acharyas whom we studied the whole year. For example Ashwini Yagnas, etc. On auspicious days like agyaras and Ekadashi The library has huge sections of all the medical books on allopathy as well as Ayurvedic Almost about anatomy, physiology, Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, Dravya Guna, and many more which are important for the exams and for other knowledge for research. The classroom has proper ventilation and is surrounded by so many trees and a garden. We have digital boards and normal marker boards as well. A special Record room is available in the hospital to watch the ongoing surgery in OT. Social clubs are also available.

Admission

In terms of eligibility, we need to clear the Neet after the 12th science. According, to the category of students they have their cutoff marks that change year by year for the admission of students in this college. The structure are same for all the category students but the boys and girls have different free patterns Boys'annual fee is 4000/- Girls annual fee is 1200/- Exams are mostly the annual which are taken by the University and their marks only considerable for the next year's continuation. Other internal exams are there which is taken mostly by the college faculties no external faculty comes up during that. An inspection is held every year. During the addmission process the administration staff is so kind that you won't get in trouble so overall is quite easy for all educated and uneducated parents as well.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty to student ratio is 100 students and 10 faculties. Their teachings are just outstanding in aspects of theory as well as practical. They have a huge timetable for their own like clinical classes, hospital opds, ipds along with that they teach us in their scheduled lectures. They also give a chance for postgraduate students to teach the students of 1st to 4th year. They make us wholesome with all the teaching according to the syllabus and our syllabus even. They did the drug tour for second-year scholars as they have the theory subject according to the ayurvedic medicinal herbs named Dravya Guna. Overall their interaction are so friendly that they can also come up with like we can share our mental health during and after the class. They maintain the study pressure as much as less to make students cheerful in terms of learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects are after choosing this course there appears Dr before my bame and that is well enough to choose me this course. The curriculum prepares great experience for the real world application and there are many many chances of further academic pursuits like md and other super speciality courses . The ares for improvement in this course is to provide better practical important from teaching in a practical way , that can be done better. The difficulty level is mediocre because semester exams contains the syllabus from the semester and university is dependent on the government.

Course Curriculum Overview:

To choose BAMS was my decision considering its demand post covid and in abroad there is lot of demand While studying this course I realised that are many diseases which are not cured by allopathy but Ayurveda has the scope to heal that disease For improvement here is by bringing more awareness about ayurveda and need of good teaching faculties In our college we have 3 terms with each term having 3 periodicals with 1.5 month gap followed by a term end exam The difficulty level is maintained so as to prepare for university
