Likes

The standard of the courses are very good.
The number of companies that they bring is quite good.
The grading is also very lenient and easy to score good marks.

Dislikes

The rate of examinations in a single semester is very high.
The administration of the college is very poor.
The fees is comparatively higher based on the commodities that they provide.

Course Curriculum Overview

The set of courses in our curriculum is relevant to what I chose. Most of them are computer science related like DBMS, Operating System, Networking these are the fundamentals that are required and they are present. As I have chosen Core CSE, so almost all the coursework is covered in my curriculum.

Internships Opportunities

Multiple companies come and generally tech companies come with technical roles. Companies like JP Morgan, BNY Melon, Wells Fargo etc come for SDE role with a average package of 20 lakhs, but the y dont take too many students. Startups also come with Technical consultant roles as well as SDE roles with a average package of 10 to 12 Lakhs per anuum. The stipends for the internships vary from 20000 to 40000 on an average.

Placement Experience

Nowadays, placement is very scarce in all the colleges including IIT's, but our college brings many startups and other companies and previous year for 2024 passout batch around 500 companies came. So, if one wants to get placed they have to work hard and they can get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees of my college when I entered was 3,50,000 and the people who came in between 1 to 500 in rank of SRMJEE exam they were given scholarships. However, now the fees has extended to 4,50,000 and the scholarship part is still there and new AC's are installed.

Campus Life

Campus life was really good, there are many tech fests as well as cultural fests like MILAN and AARUSH, but the price to enter those fest is a bit high, overalll the experience was great got to learn a lot of new things. There are many clubs in our college if you are interested in any corporate, robotics, or technical domains our college has a good set of clubs.

Admission

The admission process was really straight forward, as there was one entrance exam SRMJEE. I scored around 5000 rank in that and I got into CSE Core and the people who scored below 500 got scholarship also. There is no such cut off to get CSE, but try to get your rank below 15000.

Faculty

Most of the faculty members in our college is quite knowledgable but there are some who are not aware. Most of the teachers have PhD degrees, but their approach to teaching is not dependent on their qualification. Some are really good at what they are teaching while some just come and sit.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam. The reason why I chose this course was because my family friend also joined here for architecture and she said the placements are top notch and it provides multiple opportunities abroad I got rejection from IISER because I failed in entrance exam.
