What Students Say
Likes
- The best learning place for an extrovert. Probably the only college with so many practical classes which i really liked.
- The staff is really helpful and understanding and are always there for you.
Dislikes
- I have no complains but my friends found it not worth the money.
- The placement was very average, but i think other colleges had worse.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is hostile and covers a wide range of subjects which i really liked. But the syllabus of certain subjects i feel added no value. Certain information in the syllabus is just useless and can be replaced with important information.
Placement Experience
The PG students get a lot of companies and their average package is 6 LPA i believe. Last year the highest package was 20 LPA a girl got from Vedantu during college placements. Placements apparently have taken a toll after covid. For UG students there are less opportunities and the average package for us was 3.5 LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is 228000 per year, i don't know if there has been any changes. I feel it's definitely worth every penny if u make use of all the opportunities. So many events and programs happen in campus and you don't have to pay an extra single penny. The fests are out of the world atleast for me.
Campus Life
The MIC campus feels like a resort when u enter, but inside the four walls u get AC class rooms , radio studio, tv Studio, computer labs, mac labs and more. The mahe campus which MIC too have access to is 500 meters away and has multiple food courts and mess , stalls etc. The student plaza is the cherry on cake as it just brings everyone close.
Admission
Anybody who has done their PUC (Plus 2) in any stream can apply to this course. Since I applied during COVID we had to submit SOP first then an Interview. But usually there is an entrance exam like my juniors had.
Faculty
Everybody definitely knows their subjects and have abundance of knowledge about the course but few of them do not know how to teach. Like they know what they are talking about but fail to make the students understand it.
